Well she Rang his clock :)

Only a shame she couldn;'t FINSIH HIM!!!
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 12:09 AM edit delete reply

Just knew there was a curve ball in there somewhere...
Tokyo Rose 19th Oct 2012, 12:13 AM edit delete reply

Well, yeah. Otherwise, as noted, this'd all be over by the time the cavalry arrives . . .
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 12:16 AM edit delete reply

although it would be funny if Lynn rescued "herself" snickers...
Tokyo Rose 19th Oct 2012, 12:19 AM edit delete reply

I was more thinking the cavalry would arrive and they'd all wind up standing around staring at the glass-lined crater where New Rome used to be, wondering what the hell they can rescue thanks to the "contingencies" >_<
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 12:25 AM edit delete reply

*whistles innocently* I hear Tri-fusion bombs were in fashion several hundred years ago
Marcus Ramesy 19th Oct 2012, 1:30 AM edit delete reply

they never went out of style....
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 12:30 AM edit delete reply

Approximately where is everybody at this point?
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 12:35 AM edit delete reply

Dolly - Ceci are in Joleet
Kyle is route to nova roma
ada and td and crew are "in progress"
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 12:38 AM edit delete reply

I guess Lynn and Acantha will have to do the mice in the walls thing for a while.

Are Nova Roman politics fluid enough that this incident could have a catalytic effect?
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 1:16 AM edit delete reply

Oh I think "ripples" will be going around ..
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 1:23 AM edit delete reply

Side note: Are you using a Tarot deck for titles on this arc?
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 1:30 AM edit delete reply

hehe Actually yes... and no they arent random.
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 1:32 AM edit delete reply

A standard deck or something exotic?
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 1:43 AM edit delete reply

Thanks. I'll have to find my deck. Of course it's old fashioned, got it back in the late 60's when I was at FSC.

The Tarot is a deep and ancient pool of reference and association.
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 1:51 AM edit delete reply

its my favorite deck .. sooo pretty.
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 3:51 AM edit delete reply

Here is a bit of information that might stimulate your optical inputs.
Dianna Silver 19th Oct 2012, 10:50 PM edit delete reply

Eh, that one's okay. A bit like stained glass in the art style. Give me the Robin Wood deck any day (Yes, I own one). http://www.amazon.com/The-Robin-Wood-Tarot/dp/0875428940
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 11:58 PM edit delete reply

Quite dramatic! Thank you for sharing.
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 12:07 AM edit delete reply

The Contingencies! What up and coming Imperator wouldn't have a 'take it all with you button' in his back pocket!
Death2Bravo 19th Oct 2012, 12:49 AM edit delete reply

Aye that's the rub. The guy you can't kill is a scum, the guy you off in 3 seconds was a fine, upstanding family man and a pillar of his community.
Marcus Ramesy 19th Oct 2012, 1:33 AM edit delete reply

and that my friends... is why diabolical evil sadistic, and did I mention bat shit nuts... rulers are frowned upon.... I have stories I can share ... but.. later.. shhh.... the story is going on
Draginbeard 19th Oct 2012, 1:53 AM edit delete reply

I only have two words... "DOUBLE TAP!"

That's one royal mook who needs to stay down. He can always get a new brain at radio shack to replace the one that had clearly short-circuited before she got there.
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 7:52 AM edit delete reply

she really wanted to keep hitting him , she really did !
KarToon12 19th Oct 2012, 9:56 AM edit delete reply

Go Lynn! :D

Although, this is either going to work out awesome or awful for them. :/
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 10:16 AM edit delete reply

Amusingly enough - Lynn is thinking the same thing!
mushroomisland 19th Oct 2012, 11:08 AM edit delete reply

who cares just ill him! >:D rawr
...This is only a start of the revolution ,no?
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 12:10 PM edit delete reply

Heh, the first blow ! first blood goes to LYNN TAYLOR! ( well actually first blood goes to Acantha ..)
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 12:12 PM edit delete reply

First THUD goes to Lynn Taylor!
craybest 19th Oct 2012, 2:20 PM edit delete reply

As I said on the forums, that HAS to hurt!
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 7:39 PM edit delete reply

Yep - you will see how badly .. next update >_<
Sleel 19th Oct 2012, 4:24 PM edit delete reply

Tricksies! Never thought if this, since the AI still controls the nukes, even if he 'forgets'. Unless I missed something along the way. Guess they coulda put together their own nuke outta the AI's control zones. I scuppose it's a tad more effective then a modern version of a tinfoil hat to keep the signals out. Course, they could judiciously beat his brains some more. Not enough to kill him but just enough to vegitate him. Almost as good :}
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 5:13 PM edit delete reply

Where's a good brain surgeon when you need one!
Besides, I don't think they are going to have much time to fineness things...
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 7:41 PM edit delete reply

we shall see !
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 7:40 PM edit delete reply

Deck hasnt lived as long as he has by being totally "un-prepared" as for the rest - I cant really say.
Rashala 19th Oct 2012, 5:37 PM edit delete reply

I gotta ask...are the contingencies linked to his Brain activity or his cardiovascular activity. Cause if its linked ot his heart she -could- Brain him into a permamnent coma state and his heart could keep beating/forced to keep beatign by machine til the contingencies could eb transfered to Acantha

If based off brain activity well still could pound him into a coma jsut not a fatal one.
Centcomm 19th Oct 2012, 7:41 PM edit delete reply

On this I really cant say - spoilers ya know.
cattservant 19th Oct 2012, 8:00 PM edit delete reply

Oh dear! Bufferitis!* Caught between what you know and what we see...

*(And the bigger the buffer, the more acute the symptoms!)
dpallee 21st Oct 2012, 10:41 PM edit delete reply

what is it about Princes that made them lose their charm?
cattservant 21st Oct 2012, 10:50 PM edit delete reply

Their only social interactions came from underneath?
(perhaps)
Centcomm 21st Oct 2012, 11:13 PM edit delete reply

Disney .. I blame Disney.
cattservant 21st Oct 2012, 11:55 PM edit delete reply

That's a definite possibility.
rfaramir 10th Jun 2013, 5:11 PM edit delete reply
Power.

"Absolute power corrupts absolutely." And the Prince has the most power in his jurisdiction.
Centcomm 10th Jun 2013, 5:31 PM edit delete reply

yep very very true...
LooeyQ 22nd Oct 2012, 10:02 AM edit delete reply

Awesome!
Centcomm 22nd Oct 2012, 10:13 AM edit delete reply

Yeppers! Sorry it took her so long :D
GeekPrime 23rd Oct 2012, 10:03 PM edit delete reply

Maybe I'm just the Dirty Old Man but I see some X-rated peeking in frame 4 in Lynn's shorts.
An overlooked fabric edge that just happened to render that way nudge wink?
Centcomm 24th Oct 2012, 12:38 AM edit delete reply
