she recently did a whole slew of these. and I must say Diana is one of the best CG guy artists I know of. she also had a lot to do with Aeneas's look and I typicly consult with her on things.

Those trees look so pretty; they almost look real!

Thanks. I'm just waiting to hear from TR if she thinks that's how Psyche should look. I'm a little surprised Cent threw this one up, since I'd also done ones of Aphrodite and Eros and those two I wasn't going to be changing their look any time soon. *Chuckles*

An evocative scene, thank you!
The Psyche and Cupid story strikes me as somewhat convoluted. But it has deep roots in Western Culture.

[Freyja and her Cats might catch your imagination.]

Actually I was reminded of Persephone after Hades kidnapped her at first she was not happy later, of coures, that changed.
Dianna Silver 17th Feb 2013, 2:27 PM edit delete reply

Yes, well, I've got renders of Hades and Persephone also. In fact, Hades was the first one I did because Tokyo Rose and I were talking about how horribly screwed over Disney made the Hercules myth in their animated movie and neither one of us were anywhere near happy with what they did with Hades in that film. (And yes, the Hades and Zeus conversation where they're in a high-tech setting does actually all tie in with what I've been dinking around with lately.) Remember, as of right now, anyone interested in seeing what else I've done needs to go to my Deviant Art page: http://diannasilver.deviantart.com/

Dear Artiste, has your gear-oil congealed?
