Eewww.

I just went through a round of Computer Nastiness. Luckily, i seem to have recovered everything successfully. (And added another terabyte of storage in the process - 5.25TB at the moment. When you collect movies, music and video stuffs...)
Centcomm 30th Mar 2013, 1:07 PM edit delete reply

it looks like the change over is going relitively well :D

Mr. Rotters neighborhood... =P

excellent figure work though the whole page, but I really dig the pose you gave them in the last panel the best.

Can you say "Armed & Dangerous"?
I knew you could!
Rashala 29th Mar 2013, 1:21 AM edit delete reply

oh If I could I would help CEci to find out who she is and what she could do *after rescuing lynn*

Even if that was a person who was nto interested in me....romantically Just being a friend would be good too.

Here comes Dolly the maternal,
Her urge to help is eternal!
Mayyday 29th Mar 2013, 3:11 AM edit delete reply

Ceci hates pants is now canon.
KarToon12 29th Mar 2013, 11:19 AM edit delete reply

I love how she immediately switches from a deep conversation about her very existance, to "Can I have a gun?" XDXD
LooeyQ 29th Mar 2013, 9:01 PM edit delete reply

Hahahahahaha!!! Panel 2 is great, just because they're talking about guns!

Guns guns guns!

Someone remind me again why Ceci wants a gun? Doesn't she have built-in weaponry already? And back at that bunker a while back when they were searching for the doctor, seems to me she was already packing some heavy iron.
Mayyday 30th Mar 2013, 2:37 AM edit delete reply

Because guns.
cattservant 30th Mar 2013, 9:39 AM edit delete reply

Nano-testosterone...

A possible answer to "Why does Ceci want a gun?":

Her on-board weapons are concealed. The problem with concealed weapons is that you're more likely to have to use them, since a potential attacker can't see in advance that you're armed. By openly carrying a normal gun, she A) has a deterrent, thus reducing her odds of being attacked, and B) if she is attacked, she can respond using her 'open carry' weapon, leaving her concealed weapons still hidden for later use.
cattservant 30th Mar 2013, 11:09 AM edit delete reply

It's symbolic too.
Centcomm 30th Mar 2013, 1:06 PM edit delete reply

At Black..
that is the most accurate answer :D
Rashala 30th Mar 2013, 7:25 PM edit delete reply

You left out a C: If she is caught with dolly and they are forced to surrender their weapons. She can hand over her -visible- one and still have her conceled ones ready and waiting to make her escape
velvetsanity 18th Apr 2013, 9:21 AM edit delete reply

Actually, C: the concealed nature of her built-in weaponry is such that its use requires self-injury.

Your C is actually D :D

Actually, that isn't true. Centcomm has informed us that Ceci's injury was due to her powering up but not using her concealed weapon. If she'd actually used it, there wouldn't have been an injury.

This(!) is "why guns".

For perspective, Maxima is to TeeDee as a howitzer is to a BB gun.

The impression I get is that Ceci is, in SOME ways, a bit similar to Dolly. Granted, there's a WHOLE LOT that's different about them, including personality and about 60 years of experience. What I mean is that they are both highly individualistic and rather unique among androids.

Dolly has evolved beyond the typical android in terms of her strong bond with her charges and her understanding of human behavior. (Even Cent was surprised by the strength of her bond and her human-like gestures. And that was before the Model 5 body.)

Ceci, apparently, is in a class of her own in terms of wanting to "be her own person" and explore the world. She really is an unusual case for a Black Angel. And, from what I can tell, after mere days of activation she's evolved a lot and is more in touch with emotions than many androids.

Ooh-bi-doo, I wan'na be like you
I want to walk like you, talk like you, too
You see it's true, [a droid] like me
Can learn to be like you, too

Ceci might be annoying at times, but I think she's becoming my favorite character. Perhaps it's just her innocence, but it's hard to tell when she already knows and understands so much. Like humans, sometimes it's hard to tell between programming/knowledge and maturity without numerous other clues, which may or may not be obvious with androids.

All-in-all, Ceci is a fun character and I hope she doesn't end up a casualty of storytelling.
