OK Tell us about the mushrooms. YAY!!! First Post!!!!
Centcomm 19th Jun 2013, 9:05 PM edit delete reply

nuh huh.. Ill leave that to Silver and Marcus.

YAY!
Don B. 19th Jun 2013, 9:44 PM edit delete reply
Wanna bet that mushroom experience was at least as educational for Veronica as spending a week with her alone in the desert was for Marcus?
Marcus Ramesy 20th Jun 2013, 1:27 AM edit delete reply

Some stories are never meant to be told.
Mark_L_A 8th Sep 2015, 5:01 AM edit delete reply

So it's a "Noodle Incident"?

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NoodleIncident
Sheela 19th Jun 2013, 9:03 PM edit delete reply

Oooh, a morality framework ... but what about the morality framework she's already been building herself - will it just be overwritten, or combined with the new package or something?
Centcomm 19th Jun 2013, 9:05 PM edit delete reply

combined. it will basicly make watchdog relax. and simply offer her advice rather than trying to bulldozer her.
velvetsanity 19th Jun 2013, 9:26 PM edit delete reply

So, something more like the standard system used for androids?
Centcomm 19th Jun 2013, 9:53 PM edit delete reply

kinda - its a cut down version Silver is hacking togather on the fly.
Hornet 20th Jun 2013, 9:14 AM edit delete reply
Given what her task are to be, I'm seeing a lot of razor work in cutting down that frame. basically don't hurt your friends or the target, everything else is friable.
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 2:03 PM edit delete reply

Yep Mass Murder bad. friends good. protection good. random acts of violence BAD... and shes not touching Cecis loyalty to Dolly..
velvetsanity 20th Jun 2013, 2:11 PM edit delete reply

Of *course* she's not touching *that*. She's a mad genius, she's not suicidal! :D
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 4:34 PM edit delete reply

Yeah, besides, Dolly might take offense at it. :D
highlander55 19th Jun 2013, 9:07 PM edit delete reply

I want to know if that halo device Mira wants to put on Ceci will conflict and cause a (um) scatter brain crash in Ceci.
Centcomm 19th Jun 2013, 9:09 PM edit delete reply

Actually Mira didnt want to use it - she argued against it. remmeber?

and I cant answer the question - sorry.
>_<
Sheela 19th Jun 2013, 9:14 PM edit delete reply

CeCi can become MORE scatterbrained ? :D
highlander55 19th Jun 2013, 9:14 PM edit delete reply

The question was more of thinking out loud Centcomm. I never expected an answer really, that would like reading the last chapter of a book.
@Sheela- Think Goldie Hawn in Laugh-in.
Centcomm 19th Jun 2013, 9:22 PM edit delete reply

hehe no worrys :D
Dragonrider 20th Jun 2013, 8:42 AM edit delete reply

It may be Rice Wine to you buts it's Saki to me. *Cue bucket of water*
Hornet 20th Jun 2013, 5:00 PM edit delete reply
Don't you mean the cowboy and Connie? In which I still say an empty housing would work. After all it's not like they have to deal with US TSA agents, which seam to be using a short of the Airplane 2 movie boarding as a training video.
lalverson 19th Jun 2013, 10:09 PM edit delete reply
it's being rebooted to be Jimminy Cricket.
I like that.
Rashala 19th Jun 2013, 10:30 PM edit delete reply

Okay.... *pulls a few pins out of her DR Silver voodoo doll's Butt.......Some not all*
highlander55 19th Jun 2013, 10:38 PM edit delete reply

Careful there Rashala, Dr Silver will turn you into a Golem! LOL
velvetsanity 19th Jun 2013, 10:41 PM edit delete reply

I bet he's hoping she'll turn him into an android :D
highlander55 19th Jun 2013, 10:45 PM edit delete reply

More likely a Gelding.
Rashala 19th Jun 2013, 11:56 PM edit delete reply

seriously...I bet that would be the Only unanimous descision Nova roma New troy and so on all came to in a century.. NO ANDROID RASH's
velvetsanity 20th Jun 2013, 12:26 AM edit delete reply

Why not? we could give you a setup similar to the Black Angels....where each secondary processor is a morality core :D
Rashala 20th Jun 2013, 2:20 AM edit delete reply

I -DARE- you to suggest this to Centya nd Rose.

I will be over here....laughing as they react.
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 9:22 AM edit delete reply

You mean .. he doesn't know that he's a replicant?
velvetsanity 20th Jun 2013, 2:13 PM edit delete reply

Obviously not. Or else he found out and the knowledge broke his mind. What there is of one to break, anyway ^_~
cattservant 19th Jun 2013, 11:11 PM edit delete reply

CeCi's CCM: Yellow, Green and Blue!

[So much better Dr. Silver. Thank you!]
Don B. 19th Jun 2013, 11:39 PM edit delete reply
I don't think it's going to be that easy. I hope I'm wrong for Ceci's sake.
cattservant 19th Jun 2013, 11:48 PM edit delete reply

There is bound to be a divergence somewhere soon!
Out there beneath the post apocalyptic Moon!
Rashala 20th Jun 2013, 2:22 AM edit delete reply

#66 And RiSING!!!!!
mjkj 20th Jun 2013, 7:50 AM edit delete reply

Mushroom incident? What happened there?

Ah, a helpful doggy now. :)

I hope they work good together now.
ResidentWeavil 20th Jun 2013, 7:53 AM edit delete reply
If I were a sentient Android, I would be rather concerned that the biologics could and would simply change my view of the world so easily.
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 11:25 AM edit delete reply

well to be fair shes only changing a non-sentient part of Ceci .. she cant actually access Cecis "mind" ie: the Synth-brain.
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 11:39 AM edit delete reply

Can't 'access' because of;
1)Distance issues?
2)Technical factors?
3)Ethical considerations?
4)All of the above?
5)None of the above?

Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 11:41 AM edit delete reply

technical - generally a normal synth-brain cant be altered while active. just like a human brain. all the parts around it though..
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 11:50 AM edit delete reply

Seems like a 'fully sparked' synth-brain would be totally unique and be incapable of physical modification short of destructive methods.

[Also, Black Angel parts would have at least military grade level specs, wouldn't they?]
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 12:21 PM edit delete reply

you are correct - other than moving the data ( via flash ) or distroying it. the data is encoded in such a way to make it incompatable. except during transfers.

and yes Angels are all Mil-spec grade materierals although synth brains are pretty much all made from the same high quality materials .. they tend to die if not.
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 12:33 PM edit delete reply

As I recall, it was noted that CeCi had extra special parts (in her brain, I mean!)(Of course there has been very little mention of her other parts so far.) included. Would that be Black Angel SOP, or does CeCi require extra control for her special modifications?
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 12:59 PM edit delete reply

i cant say much about her "specials"

but I will say one more thing about S-Brains they are suseptible to brainwashing just like a human given the same tactics
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 1:14 PM edit delete reply

Brainwashing is essentially a secondary technique. It works via the 'software' vs the 'hardware'.

[BTW: Thanks for being communicative to day. I thought you might have strained yourself yesterday!]
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 1:41 PM edit delete reply

Special parts, huh ?

... she can take off her boobs and use them as shapely ... erhh .. shaped charges ?
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 2:01 PM edit delete reply

haha - her boobs as shaped charges LOL :D
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 3:46 PM edit delete reply

Actually, to my recollection , her SLTs* are the only parts that have received much comment.

*(Stealth Laser Turrets)
KarToon12 20th Jun 2013, 10:10 AM edit delete reply

I'm assuming this thing with the mushrooms is going to be this comic's "noodle incident" (as they say on TV Tropes.com). XD
Marcus Ramesy 20th Jun 2013, 10:30 AM edit delete reply

one of many..
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 1:23 PM edit delete reply

Well, as long as it didn't produce a love child of theirs, it's limited how much damage it could have done. :)

.. I mean, just imagine how stubborn a child of those two would be ?
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 1:33 PM edit delete reply

oh god.. runs and hides..
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 1:37 PM edit delete reply

A child like that could stand up to even the most twisted New Roma megalomaniac !
... hrmm ...

Hey ! You two get with the baby making ! >_<
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 2:01 PM edit delete reply

oh god clear the area...
Marcus Ramesy 20th Jun 2013, 2:21 PM edit delete reply

Fortunately for me.. I do not have the proper augmentation required for sexual satisfaction of Dr. Silver... where she happens to prefer he men augmented.. with the pleasure vib 8000, requiring a small fusion reactor to power it... I am still running with OEM parts...
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 3:03 PM edit delete reply

ah well, you'll just have to go that extra mile then. XD
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 3:52 PM edit delete reply

So it's not enough just to stand up stalwartly. That figures!
Dragonrider 20th Jun 2013, 5:04 PM edit delete reply

Remember the Jedi way Use The Force Marcus use The Force. Every last man if you have to but get the job done. Failure is not an option on this mission.
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 3:57 PM edit delete reply

@Sheela: The results would be somewhere between Donal Graeme and George Armstrong Custer.
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 4:36 PM edit delete reply

Uhm .. I'm not really familiar with either?
Custer was an american military man, wasn't he?
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 4:37 PM edit delete reply

yes he was .. a general.. >_<
Sheela 20th Jun 2013, 4:38 PM edit delete reply

As I said .. a military man.
No wonder I haven't heard much about him, I never really had any interest in military history - Much less military history from abroad.
Dragonrider 20th Jun 2013, 5:11 PM edit delete reply

He was an egomaniac who thought just because he was General George Armstrong Custer he could defeat 2000 Indians with less than 200 Cavalry he got almost every male in his family, including himself, killed at the Little Big Horn.
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 5:13 PM edit delete reply

He had some difficulty with his relations with the Native Americans...
Antonious 20th Jun 2013, 7:36 PM edit delete reply

Donal Graeme is a character in a series of novels by Gordon R. Dickson know collectively as "The Childe Cycle."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donal_Graeme
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 8:36 PM edit delete reply

Indeed! I was trying to set up a wide spectrum of military accomplishment!
Tibbittz 20th Jun 2013, 1:30 PM edit delete reply

"I'll live." Heh.
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 2:01 PM edit delete reply

they do this all the time :D
Rashala 20th Jun 2013, 4:08 PM edit delete reply

WAit.....I think I get it

All of this is happening JUST After/as Ceci and dolly kicked those Gutter's butts and CEci was having problems feeling nothing about killing em?
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 4:10 PM edit delete reply

this is happening after that. just before the "Reboot" page with Ceci.. the pages will sync technicly this is while Dolly < Mira and Ceci were talking and Ceci was sitting there.
Draginbeard 20th Jun 2013, 7:15 PM edit delete reply

Really, really like the flow of the dialog here. I could hear them in my head, clear as day. Uh, I'm not sure I should be saying things like that out loud...
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 7:21 PM edit delete reply

You've just got to get out of that moldy cave!
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 7:41 PM edit delete reply

thats ok .. we hear em too :D
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 7:16 PM edit delete reply

So all this bifurcated action is taking what, about five minutes?
Centcomm 20th Jun 2013, 7:41 PM edit delete reply

pretty much.. :D more like 15 ..
cattservant 20th Jun 2013, 8:40 PM edit delete reply

"The difficult we do right away, the impossible takes a little longer!"

Marcus Ramesy 20th Jun 2013, 9:15 PM edit delete reply

love the seebees

Anyone else reminded of Robocop 2 when they drove Robocop insane by installing over 300 B.S. prime directives instead of the usual three? Where's a circuit breaker panel when you need one.
