The world has lost a wonderful man Yesterday - Robin Williams actor and comedian passed away Yesterday. So i am calling for a moment of Silence .

Robin Williams actually did contribute to this and my other comic Luna Star in the form of the Movie " Bicentennial man " a touching and very human story of a machines quest to be human.

Robin McLaurin Williams (July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014)

My car, having survived a tree branch falling on it and doing an expensive but insurance-covered amount of damage, has now decided to liven things up by trying to stop functioning in other expensive but non-insurance-covered ways. If anyone would like to help me make it behave, donations would be extremely welcome. Paypal is an option for any generous souls, but my share of what hits the tip jar on Patreon will also be going directly into mechanic-administered obedience classes for my car, so among our other nice rewards there, reboot pages may happen as a thank-you. :)

Dolly doesn't know Callope knocked Cent down a couple of notches.
Stormwind13 13th Aug 2014, 3:01 AM edit delete reply

No Dolly doesn't know, jamie; however, Dolly sent Mira to Calliope. I think Dolly was hoping that Calliope would 'wake-up' and take a more active role in the situation.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:52 AM edit delete reply

Yep thats right. Dolly knows nothing thats going on at New Troy :D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 10:50 AM edit delete reply

Well, she knows that *something* is probably going down in New Troy - She did send Mira there, after all.

Stirring up a hornets nest, our Dolly is.
She likes to play with the bees!
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 2:00 PM edit delete reply

Yes she does :D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 2:19 PM edit delete reply

Meanwhile, she steals the honey. :)
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 2:36 PM edit delete reply

but of course!
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 4:55 PM edit delete reply

Honey, thy name is Lynn.
plymayer 12th Aug 2014, 9:50 PM edit delete reply

A friend is never something to just throw away.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:52 AM edit delete reply

no its not :D
bilateralcomics 12th Aug 2014, 11:23 PM edit delete reply

I reallly like how the displays look in your comic. Very futuristic, very cool.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:53 AM edit delete reply

Thank you ! I really try to match displays with whats happening :D
mjkj 13th Aug 2014, 12:07 AM edit delete reply

Oh, seems like CeCi is getting into soaps...

...What I remember Aeneas talking about sure fits the way the message was constructed and signed.

Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:53 AM edit delete reply

heh "Lost in Translation" is a runnning joke in our comic :D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 11:26 AM edit delete reply

Reminds me a bit of the computer game called "the last of us" where the female protagonist collects some comic books called "Savage Starlight" who has this "Endure and survive!" motto that she keeps sprouting.

Pretty hilarious.
Good game too. :)
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 2:37 PM edit delete reply

Ive seen some of a play though on it.. never played it.
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 5:55 PM edit delete reply

There are so many good parts in that game, picking one part out is hard.
Though I have a soft spot for the cinematic where they're traveling in a car and she tells him about the two magazines she stole from someone else.

It's pretty funny. :)

Ellie : "Oh. Why are all those (pages) stuck together ?"
Joel : "um"
cattservant 13th Aug 2014, 2:53 AM edit delete reply

Dolly's thinking.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:54 AM edit delete reply

Yes she is... :D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 10:52 AM edit delete reply

And she's got a brandnew brain in her head that is *really* good at thinking !
Better than any other android out there, in fact!

And the heavens trembled!
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 2:38 PM edit delete reply

-And the sky cracked open and poured wet tears on to the shattred ferro-creat
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 4:47 PM edit delete reply

It is actually an interesting though, just how good is Dolly's new brain ?
After all, Calliope would go so far as to cheat to give her the very best.
And it might just be a whole lot better than anything else out there.
Someone could be in for a nasty surprise, once she starts using it.
Centcomm 15th Aug 2014, 3:54 AM edit delete reply

Dollys new brain is " diffrent " in someways its much faster - in others its no better or worse than a human brain :D
Sheela 15th Aug 2014, 4:42 AM edit delete reply

How about compaired to android brains ?
Centcomm 15th Aug 2014, 5:01 AM edit delete reply

its hard to say,. Dolly has lost none of her "mental acuity or speed" she can still use speed speak and make huge calculations in micro seconds . but a lot of the brains capacity is used for running her body.
Sheela 16th Aug 2014, 3:43 AM edit delete reply

More flexible ?

ie. less rigid thinking and better at thinking .. laterally ?
Would make her good at coming up with alternative solutions and make things go .. sideways .. for the opponent.
Stormwind13 13th Aug 2014, 2:58 AM edit delete reply

Dolly realizes that she can't turn down the help. She needs ANY edge she can get to give her a chance of succeeding.

I think Dolly is worried about it being a Honeypot though. Someone putting a trap out for possible agents trying to come to Lynn's rescue.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:54 AM edit delete reply

right on both counts it could very well be a trap.
Stormwind13 13th Aug 2014, 1:56 PM edit delete reply
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 11:10 AM edit delete reply

No, no, this is a trap.

.. and maybe this one too.
Stormwind13 14th Aug 2014, 1:50 PM edit delete reply

You are a SICK puppy, Sheela. :-D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 2:21 PM edit delete reply

Well .. you started it with the "honeypot" comment.

I wonder, is CeCi also a trap ?
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 2:38 PM edit delete reply

could be !
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 4:48 PM edit delete reply

She has a package in her pants ?
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 5:43 PM edit delete reply

No comment :P
Stormwind13 14th Aug 2014, 5:54 PM edit delete reply

Of COURSE CeCi is a trap, Sheela. She is a teenage RESPONSIBILITY. And Dolly is going to be TRAPPED raising her. :-D
Centcomm 15th Aug 2014, 5:02 AM edit delete reply

heeh :D at least she doesnt have to potty train her :D
Sheela 16th Aug 2014, 3:43 AM edit delete reply

I'm sure there's a fetish for that!
Stormwind13 13th Aug 2014, 3:03 AM edit delete reply

Yeah, CentComm. Incredibly sad that Robin Williams apparently took his own life. He touched so many people over the years.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:54 AM edit delete reply

Yeah- He will be missed .. :(
DizzasterJuice 13th Aug 2014, 7:12 AM edit delete reply

My new bad-ass saying: "I'll open you up like a can of tomatoes!"
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:55 AM edit delete reply

hehe - Do i get royaltys ? ( J/K )
KarToon12 13th Aug 2014, 9:32 AM edit delete reply

And a certain soap opera pops up again...that can't just be coincidence.
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 10:55 AM edit delete reply

Nope - its just fate.. :D
Don B. 13th Aug 2014, 10:14 PM edit delete reply
You can't escape the soaps, especially if you have a mom, three sisters, aunts and nieces like myself.
Stormwind13 14th Aug 2014, 3:22 PM edit delete reply

That kind of situation is what drives men to head West, Don. :-D
Centcomm 14th Aug 2014, 3:40 PM edit delete reply

lol
Matt Knab 13th Aug 2014, 12:19 PM edit delete reply

Channel surfing to gather intel. Nice. :)
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 12:23 PM edit delete reply

its a valid tactic :D
Stormwind13 13th Aug 2014, 1:59 PM edit delete reply

Yeah, except in a society that is as repressed as Nova Roma's is, I fear it would be slow. Looking for what they AVOID talking about, rather than what they do talk about.
Rashala 13th Aug 2014, 1:14 PM edit delete reply

*Gives the Entire cast individually *save Marcus and Maxis* A long tight comforting hug. *though with tedee its just a Short one and a brief curt nod, casue she may be upset too but ain't big on mushy shows of compassion. and a makes sure Roses and Centy's is Extra comforting as this likely hurt them even worse*
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 3:39 PM edit delete reply

expecting trouble eh?
Hydrargyrum 13th Aug 2014, 5:31 PM edit delete reply

Rashala's hugging Decimus. Wow, I'm impressed.
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 11:17 AM edit delete reply

Well, Decimus might need hugs too ?
Stormwind13 14th Aug 2014, 1:51 PM edit delete reply

Douchebag needs a hug, from the Star Wars trash compactor. :-D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 4:55 PM edit delete reply

Naw .. I was thinking TeeDee ... TeeDee could give him a BEARHUG !

Ada has been such a good influence on TeeDee. :)
Stormwind13 14th Aug 2014, 5:21 PM edit delete reply

Douchebag would probably take the trash compactor, Sheela. It would probably hurt less. :-D
Sheela 14th Aug 2014, 6:03 PM edit delete reply

Well of course, the trash compactor isn't nearly as good at keeping him alive for .. repeated hugging sessions.
Draginbeard 13th Aug 2014, 1:21 PM edit delete reply

Surfing the local broadcasts? I have a better idea ladies...

Kay: We're gonna check the hot sheets.

[Kay pulls up to a newsstand and buys a pile of supermarket tabloids]

Jay: THESE are the hot sheets?

Kay: Best investigative reporting on the planet. But go ahead, read the New York Times if you want. They get lucky sometimes.
Stormwind13 13th Aug 2014, 1:57 PM edit delete reply

LOL Draginbeard. Well done. Take a bow. :-D
Centcomm 13th Aug 2014, 3:39 PM edit delete reply

I chuckled out loud on this .. nice one !!
