And your mother just peed in his cheerios, yeah it'll be bad. Probably fun for the readers though.
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:35 AM edit delete reply

oh most likely it WILL be fun for you guys :D
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 11:06 AM edit delete reply

Also, Acantha have YEARS of experience in pissing Decimus off. :)
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:27 PM edit delete reply

Oh she is so very very good at it :D
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 4:50 AM edit delete reply

Hrm .. I wonder who else would be good at it ?
I mean, there is so much untapped potential here!

TeeDee is always a go-to android, if you want someone pissed off.
But I think someone like Dr Silver would be the optimal person.
She's smart, she hates his guts for being disciminatory against androids, and I suspect she would loathe him just on general principles.

Yeah, definately Dr Silver.
Add in Calliope for extra fun.

It would be much fun to have Decimus caught unawares in a Dr Silver vs, Calliope Taylor shootout sandwich.
They would be the two loaves of bread and he'd be the bloody pulp of meat wedged inbetween, trying to slip away!

Possibly with Rotter and Malati as a pair of sports commentators!
TeeDee and Acantha could be the cheerleaders, Lynn and Ada can join too.
The rating of that video feed would go through the roof!
Mr Black could sell popcorn and take bets, turning a nice profit.

Ah well .. a doggy can dream. :)
Lukkai 22nd Feb 2015, 1:45 PM edit delete reply
You might want to rethink that picture you're drawing. For I'm pretty sure that Decimus wouldn't mind to be the meat between Calliope and Silver bread loaves. Wouldn't mind at all, as a matter of fact.
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 3:02 PM edit delete reply

That would probably depend on how much of a bloody pulp he has been beaten into.
Dragonrider 19th Feb 2015, 9:24 PM edit delete reply

Hmmm bad X's two or three cubed. Still wondering when Momma Bear sends in her troops with orders to ensure Hiz Douchieness speaks in a much higher tone of voice while he does the Murder Turd run barefoot in the desert.
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:35 AM edit delete reply

LOL!
Haegan2005 19th Feb 2015, 9:50 PM edit delete reply

I do not see the gifts our AIS friend gave Acantha?

good transition piece and foreshadowing to the reader.
Timotheus 19th Feb 2015, 9:59 PM edit delete reply

Luggage
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:34 AM edit delete reply

thats because the girls hid them :D
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 11:07 AM edit delete reply

Besides, that gun is *so* meant for Dolly !
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:27 PM edit delete reply

Dolly has her own gun :D
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 4:54 AM edit delete reply

She could dualwield !
Lukkai 22nd Feb 2015, 1:53 PM edit delete reply
"Dolly has a gun" sounds like a good name of a classic pop or rock song. Or band.

Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 3:04 PM edit delete reply

You mean, something like this ?
Centcomm 22nd Feb 2015, 3:50 PM edit delete reply

something like that.. yes :D
Lukkai 23rd Feb 2015, 3:14 PM edit delete reply
Exactly the thing that was constantly lingering at the fringes of my mind, but that I couldn't clearly remember.
plymayer 19th Feb 2015, 10:34 PM edit delete reply

The prince is a jerk.
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:34 AM edit delete reply

yes he is.. so very much :D
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 3:24 PM edit delete reply

In fact, he has been *such* a jerk, that Maxus has pretty much told Acantha's guard that he can punch Decimus if he acts up. :)

No wonder Acantha looks so happy in panel 2. :)
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:27 PM edit delete reply

After what Democlus figured out he really wants to punch out Decimus .. :D
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 4:55 AM edit delete reply

No small wonder, there's probably a lot of pent up frustration available, with the prince around.
Skweeee 19th Feb 2015, 10:34 PM edit delete reply

NSFW? In that case I shall be checking my subscription queue every five minutes this Monday, until I see you new page..

Did I say I liked maps? What I meant to say was, I like maps and scenes about personal hygiene. (showers)
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:34 AM edit delete reply

LOL well DC posts at midnight on "Monday" so in Arizona it posts around 9pm for me ..
Stormwind13 20th Feb 2015, 3:57 AM edit delete reply

I'm with you there, Skweeee! Pretty girls in a shower are ALWAYS appreciated.
mjkj 20th Feb 2015, 7:48 AM edit delete reply

Well, I thought the whole comic was labeled NSFW?

(...and it is already posted at patreon...)
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:26 PM edit delete reply

it is .. However most of the comic is actually pretty PG .. I over rated it .. just to cover my bases :D
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 4:55 AM edit delete reply

ALL OF YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO ME!!! XD
Centcomm 22nd Feb 2015, 3:51 PM edit delete reply

LOL!
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 10:20 PM edit delete reply

Gief me the keys to ur kingdom ? XD
jamie59 19th Feb 2015, 10:37 PM edit delete reply

If he sees her in anything less than a burka it would probably do it right now.
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:33 AM edit delete reply

its kinda debatable how he will act ..
Highlander55 20th Feb 2015, 5:19 AM edit delete reply
If he was smart it would be kinda inflatable.
Highlander55 20th Feb 2015, 5:20 AM edit delete reply
Meant to say deflated.
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 11:08 AM edit delete reply

Actually, I think he would get pretty pissed if she appeared in a Burka. :D
Hornet 20th Feb 2015, 12:57 PM edit delete reply
Parents buy thier kids bulletproof coats for school, why not have these two in Exoframes? "Can't touch this"
Hornet 20th Feb 2015, 1:04 PM edit delete reply
Hmm or nano-weave material. Looks and fels like silk, wears like Kevlar, micro-intelligience allows for the creation of head, face and hand coverings. Breathing purification adaption optional.
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 3:25 PM edit delete reply

As cool as nano-weave is, a big bulky space marine armor, might give a clearer message to Decimus' supporters.
Haegan2005 20th Feb 2015, 8:30 PM edit delete reply

Now that is an image. Does this include the cigar? :)
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:25 PM edit delete reply

LOL :D
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 4:56 AM edit delete reply

Yes, it does.

It even includes an exploding cigar for Decimus. :)
mjkj 19th Feb 2015, 11:59 PM edit delete reply

Yeah, Lynn, you are most probably right about that...
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:33 AM edit delete reply

more than you know :D
mjkj 20th Feb 2015, 7:57 AM edit delete reply

So, i wonder whom douche will propose first? Acantha or Lynn?
Stormwind13 20th Feb 2015, 3:56 AM edit delete reply

Douchebag carries grudges, Lynn? WHAT makes you think that? The fact he probably murdered both of his parents, probably because they didn't approve of his 'style' of leadership?

This could make Games of Thrones look like a pillow fight. There may be NO survivors. :-P
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 11:13 AM edit delete reply

No, no, the pillowfight begins when TeeDee arrives.

Ofcourse, she stuffed her pillow with concrete!
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:25 PM edit delete reply

Thats our Teedee .. cranking it to 11 :D
Lukkai 21st Feb 2015, 9:43 PM edit delete reply
Teedee? Concrete?

Semtex surrounded by nails and remote detonator are the way to go.

Nice weight and spiky bits prodding out for first contact. The rest for as soon as you're into cover.
Centcomm 22nd Feb 2015, 1:24 AM edit delete reply

yeahhhh she could get into that too :D
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 5:08 AM edit delete reply

Ah, but you can get designer concrete cushions !
How is TeeDee gonna pass that up ?
Lukkai 22nd Feb 2015, 2:02 PM edit delete reply
Hmm....

The words "high pressure compressed air pillow thrower" somehow come to mind.
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 3:13 PM edit delete reply

I don't think concrete cushions would fit very well in a barrel.

Oversized slingshots and trebuchets on the other hand. :)
Lukkai 23rd Feb 2015, 3:18 PM edit delete reply
Depending on the design, they'd actually fit very well into a barrel!

And it would be easier to aim than with a trebuchet. Rather imprecise in comparison, that one.
Rms2000 20th Feb 2015, 12:04 AM edit delete reply

About the side note... Just for curiousity's sake, is that out of personal moral beliefs or to avoid potential legal issues? Also, what brought you to mention this now? Are there nude scenes planned for the near future?
Dragonrider 20th Feb 2015, 12:31 AM edit delete reply

She is just giving those that may read this at work, a heads up to avoid potential problems they might experience from IT super snoopers.
Centcomm 20th Feb 2015, 12:33 AM edit delete reply

No i got a PM so i just wanted to clarify and i was asked a long time ago to "please throw a warning up" for NSFW scenes so im doing so..
Stormwind13 20th Feb 2015, 3:58 AM edit delete reply

And it is appreciated, CentComm. To make sure not to get in any MORE trouble than I already do.
Centcomm 22nd Feb 2015, 1:24 AM edit delete reply

your welcome :D
XMinusOne 20th Feb 2015, 12:56 AM edit delete reply
Sorta OT, but:

NSFW, huh? Here we are in the 21st Century and we're still dealing with people who throw a hissy fit at the sight of a nude man or woman and, God forbid, their naughty bits. They're the ones who would like to put trousers and dresses on Greek, Roman and Renaissance statues. It just seems sort of repressed and backward to me.

(We now return you to your regularly scheduled comments)
Tokyo Rose 20th Feb 2015, 3:34 AM edit delete reply

Workplaces do have the right to establish a rule against looking at naked people, even in an artistic and non-sexualized context, while on their premises.
Stormwind13 20th Feb 2015, 3:59 AM edit delete reply

Very much so, Rose. They can be ZERO fun that way.
XMinusOne 20th Feb 2015, 6:58 AM edit delete reply
You're right, of course. Rules are rules and they sign the pay checks. I guess I went off half cocked, my bad. The whole 'morality/hypocrisy thing just gets my nanny goat. I'll be on board come Monday, that's for sure, as long as the nudity is presented in a tasteful manner. HeeHeeHee!
Dragonrider 20th Feb 2015, 1:37 PM edit delete reply

Truth told I was the one who ask for it sometime back, Thanks Cent and Rose, as I checked DC at work while I was in between computers. Corporate IT installed keyloggers on all computers and checked computer sites visited for content on a regular basis. If a reporter was researching a story that was covered by "questionable" sites the editor or publisher had to sit with them while they researched the sites then file a report about what was seen and why. Yes some corporations are that controlling, worse than the government.(I left there a couple years ago.)
Sheela 20th Feb 2015, 3:28 PM edit delete reply

I once worked in an office where they counted how many seconds people used on a customer / on the toilet / whatever.

Which was kinda absurd, as the "costumers" was the company's own techies.
Centcomm 22nd Feb 2015, 1:23 AM edit delete reply

geeez ..
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 5:10 AM edit delete reply

Never underestimate middle managements need for supervision/control.

Even if it gets quite absurd.
XRzer04 20th Feb 2015, 5:07 AM edit delete reply

If you work for yourself, however, then no worries.
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:23 PM edit delete reply

True :D
VanEzzania 20th Feb 2015, 7:25 AM edit delete reply

Acantha isn't 18?
mjkj 20th Feb 2015, 7:54 AM edit delete reply

No, she is 16 storywise... (but Cent mentioned somewhere that the actress playing her is 18...) ;)

check out the cast page and scroll down to the red new rome section...

Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:23 PM edit delete reply

Yeah Acantha is one of the few Characters that are under 18 so there wont be any "compromising " pics of her on here. If it was a shower scene with her it wouldn't show anything ( its a personal rule )
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 5:16 AM edit delete reply

Y'know, the funny thing is .. I could totally see Acantha taking offense to that. XD

I kinda think she'd be quite up in arms about it too.

Acantha : "What do you mean you won't show me naked ?"
Centcomm : "Just that, no naked Acantha on Datachasers."
Acantha : "Why? Am I not good enough?"
Centcomm : "well, erhh ... that's not quite the reason."
Centcomm : "And stop posting nude selfies."
Acantha : "WHAT? .. do you even redact my naked selfies?"
Centcomm : "I kinda have to do that."
Acantha : "Poooo! You are such a tyrant!"
Centcomm : "Now listen here, young lady, it's not me that.."
Acantha : "LA LA LAH LAA - Talk to the hand!"
Centcomm : *sigh*

And then Acantha would do the teenage thing to do, and run away from home.
Stormwind13 22nd Feb 2015, 6:22 AM edit delete reply

Can't see it, Sheela. I think Acantha is too responsible for that (running away from home). Now admittedly, she also wouldn't have much trouble appearing nude. The society she has been raised in doesn't have the nudity taboo that the US does. So I don't think she would care one way or the other.
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 3:06 PM edit delete reply

She already ran away once, that's how she ended up meeting Aeneas.
Stormwind13 22nd Feb 2015, 4:31 PM edit delete reply

Check a map, Sheela. She didn't run very far (Nova Roma isn't real large, over 200 km in length but only 6 or 60 km wide). She just ran to get away from Douchebag, especially after the loss (murder) of her father.
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 5:28 PM edit delete reply

To be fair, 6 km is a long distance if it's a city.
Besides, most girls that run away from home usually run to nearby friends, which means usually less than a mile or so.
It's the act itself that matters, as it's a rebellion against authority.
And it's suuuuper common!
Stormwind13 22nd Feb 2015, 5:56 PM edit delete reply

6km in a city? Gah. I have to go that far to get GROCERIES (not quite, but close). It is over 40km to WORK. And I have a SHORT commute! I know several people that top 100km!!! That's not even close to a record! If it is under 80km it is considered LOCAL around here.
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 10:21 PM edit delete reply

Heh, it's all about population density.

If you live in the middle of Siberia, anything under 100km is next door.
If you live in the middle of Tokyo, everything over 5 kliks is pretty far away.
Stormwind13 23rd Feb 2015, 4:10 AM edit delete reply

Except that St. Louis has a population of nearly 3 million, and a comparable population density to Denmark.
Lukkai 23rd Feb 2015, 3:30 PM edit delete reply
Denmark has not that high a population density, truth be told. At least for quite a many people out there. Heck, my Kanton has about seven times the population density of Denmark and it's by far not a pure city-Kanton!

And obviously 40km to work is about the upper limit of what's still called an average commute to work. Anything farther would be considered long.
For getting groceries, something between a few steps and 2km would be considered as normal.
And local would be about anything in a 10km radius.

As for 6km a distance. Regardless of whether it's in a city or not, it takes the average human between half and a whole hour to cross, depending on pace. That isn't exactly close, many will stop and hide or rest sooner. But not really that far either.
Lukkai 23rd Feb 2015, 3:31 PM edit delete reply
Sorry, six and a half times that of Denmark. I had the wrong numbers in mind.
Stormwind13 23rd Feb 2015, 4:12 PM edit delete reply

Hmmm... Katon is a low population island in the Phoenix Islands in the South Pacific. Canton (Guangzhou) is a large city in China (44 million in the metro area, yeah that is large). Or it could be an alternate spelling of over 25 places in the United States. None of them seem to have the requisite population density though. It is also a subdivision of Switzerland (like American counties, I would surmise). Trying to figure out where you might be to see what all is there.

Anyhow America is a land of cars. Many people have one (or two or three). If not that then they have a bus or light rail and so few measure distances on walking distance, but in driving distances, typically at around 120kph (for those living away from the city). Greatly changes the definition of local. Anything under 300km is typically a day trip around here, though there are some with that for a COMMUTE (I think they are crazy, but whatever makes them happy).
KarToon12 20th Feb 2015, 10:19 AM edit delete reply

Don't worry about the next page. We're all adults here; we can handle it. ;) (Thanks for the heads up, though.)
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:22 PM edit delete reply

your welcome :D so onward and enjoy! :D
Rashala 20th Feb 2015, 2:20 PM edit delete reply

So Calli and Lynn are Both PRecogs?

That explains a LOT....it only works in certain situations though...

yeah - when its Bloody obvious ... :D

Taylor intuition.
highlander55 20th Feb 2015, 4:35 PM edit delete reply

@ Cattservant, not sure intuition as more expectation.
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:21 PM edit delete reply

yep :D

Less intuition and more accurate observation.

Dongaria 20th Feb 2015, 8:57 PM edit delete reply

Glad they got the "You're not gonna watch me take a dump , right?" convo out of the way early. lol ;)
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:21 PM edit delete reply

but of course.. Acantha doesn't want people watching that .. its creepy !
Sheela 22nd Feb 2015, 5:23 AM edit delete reply

Setorious does it all the time, just to keep his creepy reputation low enough.
DLKmusic 20th Feb 2015, 9:57 PM edit delete reply

Not that it's going to make a difference for me because I don't work monday, but thank you for the NFSW warning.
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:20 PM edit delete reply

yep someone requested a heads up whenever something NDFW came up so .. being nice :D
Draginbeard 21st Feb 2015, 3:51 PM edit delete reply

Yeah, the Prince carries his grudge like a six-pack of stale beer. He seems to have a personality to match, only he is in a constant state of being shook up and ready to pop at a moments notice.
Centcomm 21st Feb 2015, 5:20 PM edit delete reply

the prince is like very old Nitro .. >_<
