"Ghost", as in more ways than one, at that. Ghost as in someone Lynn firmly believes is dead. And Ghost as in someone who will be wearing stealth infiltrator armor with holographic camouflage. If Kyle doesn't want Lynn (or Acantha) to see him, she probably won't.
You may not like Kyle. But can you imagine what it would do to Acantha and Lynn if either Acantha or Lynn accidentally shot Kyle to death? Imagine the guilt and blame! I think they've already been through enough tragedy.
They had better see him so he gets safely gets in under Acanthas protection. If not this is the end of their relationship because Lynn will not speak to him again. (Which is what TR probably has planned so she can use him as one of her cannon fodder minions.)
United States Route 66, which went from Chicago to Los Angeles, has been superseded by Interstate 44. In its time, it was literally the only way to go.
As for them meeting in the tram, I can just picture Tokyo Rose's comment: Behave, or all she'll see when she looks at you is Quasimodo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
True Tim, but doubt Acantha or Lynn are equipped to detect most of that either. Plus, Miraiko may not have listed everything it does, just some of the high points.
The alt text does not necessarily sound like a threat depending on who you are, truth be told.
Though in this case, it (at least mainly) is, that I'm sure of.
She said "People", not "Person". at the very least, I suspect there will be a few of Decimus's bully boys on her "smite with righteous wrath" list! Although, I also suspect the Decimus is at the top of that list.
Once again, when guys get armor it actually covers it up and when gals get armor it looks like fetish gear.
Not that a few people wouldn't be SERIOUSLY into Kyle's formfitting outfit, but DAMN, for someone going into combat Miraiko looks like she's got not nearly enough protection on vital areas like, say, upper thigh where there are arteries that can be fatal in under a minute if cut.
That was actually adressed in an earlier comment section and seems mostly due to limited clothing options for female models in the used software.
But you're not wrong in general of course. I often search for images as an inspiration for a character or examples of how things look like in a world. And it can be really hard to find usable pictures of women and girls, because so many show them in basically fetish or stripper gear.
Not that I don't like to look at such pictures every now and then, granted. But their share on overall pictures is going overboard.
Maybe the lovers will meet up and Acantha can help Kyle get in to repair Aeneas.
>_<

*looking forward to that*
...next update back to Dolly and CeCi... XD
...and Aeneas has more possibilities to detect someone...
Will Lynn be able to track down an invisible Kyle because of his... strong odor?
Kyle looks pretty slick in his new duds!
Though in this case, it (at least mainly) is, that I'm sure of.
oh hells.....Shes gonna kill him.
And Hmm BAd day... I wonder WHO that's gonna be
I like that armor.
Not quite the articulated combat armor I was expecting, but a solid carbon fiber possibly reactive.

"You feel like you're going to have a bad time."
Or, if you're Deck: "You feel your sins crawling on your back."
