heres some clarifications.

Yes I did have a Heart attack. However that is not quite as bad as it sounds. I called the ambulance and wait.. you know all this?

ok ok

UP shot.

I have a new Stent in the circumflex artery. and the by passes are holding well im going to be starting a new medication and stopping a few others.

I did NOT do anything wrong. I didn't over extend or overwork myself However i do need to restrict my unsupervised physical activity. annoying but there you go.

so im back on the mend and i do have renders done i just need to page them out to try and start getting back in the groove.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you that have stood by us in this time of medical crazyness.

Yay! It is a CentComm (EVIL). Glad you are doing okay. Sorry that you had (another) heart attack though. =O
Uncle Rat 16th Sep 2016, 5:31 PM edit delete reply

I am so glad to hear your OK, do what they say even if it isn't fun right now. We will still be here even if it take you awhile to get back together.
cattservant 16th Sep 2016, 2:40 PM edit delete reply

One step at a time.
Sheela 16th Sep 2016, 7:06 PM edit delete reply

But no unsupervised steps !
lirvilas 16th Sep 2016, 3:00 PM edit delete reply

Still alive, still fightin', still producin': good stuff.

Good to hear that things are back on the mend!
Gilrandir 16th Sep 2016, 3:10 PM edit delete reply
Maybe next time, if you put the knife into a different part of the voodoo doll that is Princess Acantha, we can be spared all this heart-related drama. I'd have much preferred some 'big toe'-related drama, but that may just be me. So, next time, the bad guy trips and just stabs Acantha in the big toe, and that way you only get to run around with a bandage on your foot, as opposed to all the hospital time, eh? ^_^

Glad you are on the mend. Hope things continue to heal in the best of all possible ways.
HiFranc 16th Sep 2016, 3:32 PM edit delete reply

I'm glad that you're doing better.

I wish you a full and speedy recovery.
Sheela 16th Sep 2016, 7:07 PM edit delete reply

Me tooooo! :D
Matt Knab 16th Sep 2016, 3:41 PM edit delete reply

Just glad you're okay, CC!
Dragonrider 16th Sep 2016, 4:22 PM edit delete reply

Terri, Dear Lady it is super to see your render and SO glad you are home safe and sound. However; I do not understand one sentence in your explanation, Quote "
I did NOT do anything wrong. I didn't over extend or overwork myself However i do need to restrict my unsupervised physical activity."
If you did nothing wrong in housework and the renders, why do you need to be supervised in activity? We love you and are worried about you PLEASE-PLEASE take care of yourself. I know from experience the recovery period is horrible, you feel like you could pace on the ceiling, but just slowly pace the floor. Congrats on dumping the lung cancer stuff.
Centcomm 16th Sep 2016, 4:54 PM edit delete reply

What i meant is that Ill still be starting cardio rehab in a couple of weeks and they will supervise pushing my limits under carefully controlled situation.

Just like whne they did the cath processdure they " sped up " my heart like you would stress test a engine to make sure it was working and no more blockages could be found had they found more they would have stented those as well. and I got the drug release stent to help with preventing more clots or stuff from forming,
Sheela 16th Sep 2016, 7:09 PM edit delete reply

Heh, "engine tuning", eh ?
You gonna get chip-tuned too ?
Maybe a bigger fart pipe too ? :D
Dragonrider 17th Sep 2016, 4:18 PM edit delete reply

Pretty Please listen to the nice Therapists and stay with their limits.

Good to know you are on the mend!

We have been praying for you!
Steven-Vincent 16th Sep 2016, 4:49 PM edit delete reply

Great to hear from you Cent.

Something similar happened to my mom. Had a triple bypass, went into rehab, and then felt chest pains/pressure. They did an angiogram and found one of the bypasses had collapsed and had to stent it. (This after telling us it was "too dangerous" to stent that particular artery.)

It took her several months to fully recover. So don't rush it.
Centcomm 17th Sep 2016, 2:59 PM edit delete reply

yeah its hard - i feel pretty ok today they have me on palvix and Lisinopril those are the new ones. I feel.. very weird :D but generally in good health.
Sheela 18th Sep 2016, 1:21 AM edit delete reply

Ah, blood pressure medicine, and a mild anti coagulating thingy I think.

Or am I wrong ? Medicine isn't my strong suit.
Tokyo Rose 18th Sep 2016, 1:51 AM edit delete reply

When I picked up Terri's new meds, the pharmacy consultant told me to quote her directly on the one that's meant to prevent blood-clot formation: "If you do not take this exactly as directed, you will explode and die."

Consequently, when I dropped the meds off with Terri, I stood there chanting "YOU WILL EXPLODE AND DIE" until I actually saw her take the first pill.
Gilrandir 18th Sep 2016, 2:10 AM edit delete reply
This is an indication of a very special friendship. It's not just any friend that will chant "EXPLODE AND DIE" over and over to someone. ^_^

The images this scene conjures in my head are awesome. Weird ... but awesome. ^_^
Tokyo Rose 18th Sep 2016, 5:31 AM edit delete reply

When a medical professional takes pains to emphasize in no uncertain terms that it is direly important to manage a situation in exactly a certain way, it's a personal policy of mine to follow their instructions. :)

You have to picture an obnoxious sawed-off bitch wearing a kaiju-kitten T-shirt, jeans, black cowboy boots, and glasses chanting like a fervent cultist to really get the full effect.
Sheela 18th Sep 2016, 7:28 AM edit delete reply

I forget, which one is the anti-blood clotting medicine ?
Gilrandir 18th Sep 2016, 9:30 AM edit delete reply
I'd guess that it's Plavix for the anti-coagulant, and Lisinopril for blood pressure.

Got some people of your own you are hoping to explode and die, @Sheela? ^_^
Gilrandir 18th Sep 2016, 9:27 AM edit delete reply
Now all we need to complete the tableau is an energetic kid sidekick looking on and shouting, "@Centcomm! Cover heart!" (a la "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom") ^_^
DLKmusic (at work) 18th Sep 2016, 2:05 PM edit delete reply
@Tokyo Rose: Now how the hell am I gonna get that image out of my head?
velvetsanity 19th Sep 2016, 2:01 PM edit delete reply

*facepalm* the 'sawed off' part of your description gives me a mental image of you not having legs instead of simply emphasizing 'I'm short'...I'm pretty sure the latter is what you meant from what I remember of the vague description Terri gave me of you way back when I hauled a load to Phoenix, but still.
DLKmusic 16th Sep 2016, 5:07 PM edit delete reply

Glad to know you're ok... I'm trying to think of something encouraging to say to you, but everything I can think of sounds like it came off of a hallmark card, so instead, I'll just say...

chk 16th Sep 2016, 6:24 PM edit delete reply

Keep in mind, we can wait. We all want your art and story, but you need to worry about you.
KarToon12 16th Sep 2016, 6:24 PM edit delete reply

I'm glad you're doing better. ^^ Just take it easy and don't worry about getting pages done by a certain time or anything. Your comic is worth the wait. You just focus on getting better first. <3
jamie59 16th Sep 2016, 6:34 PM edit delete reply

It's wonderful to hear you're doing better. Take it easy & get better. Sounded like you almost gave Rose a heart attack too.
Combat Medic Z 16th Sep 2016, 6:36 PM edit delete reply

Good to hear that you're recovering well. Yeah do be careful because otherwise Teedee will kick your ass...

Anyway, take all the time you need, I'll still be here waiting for you to post regular episodes again. This comic is one of the best ever, and I'm looking forward to more, when you're ready for it.

I also want to thank you and Rose for posting regular updates instead of just going on hiatus for months without a word, like some comics do.
Hana 16th Sep 2016, 7:14 PM edit delete reply
Its so wonderful to hear you, in a sense, get up again after each obstacle! Im very sorry you had to go through this at all, but it seems that as it didn't cause crippling damage (THANKFULLY) this whole endeavor has at least caused some good things. Its acted as a catalyst for good changes. Im not a believer in fate and what not, but its always nice to look at bad things and focus on the benefit of its unavoidable happening. Continue to rest up and heal at your own (doctor approved) pace =) you've given us hundreds of pages of quality comic, you deserve to slow down and take time time off and figure personal things out.

Glad to see your work, partly because it's awesome but mostly because it means you're doing okay.

An awesome thing here is the way Teedee looks weirdly angelic. Fully involved in the fight, but untouched by it in contrast to all the beat-up and injured people around her. And her new face is such an innocent-tomboy face. Which just makes her all that much more memorable when she opens her mouth and says .... things.

Take care of yourself!
Tookye 22nd Sep 2016, 5:18 PM edit delete reply
Chin up, nose down and do take care of yourself. [P.S. Do take your meds - we love you alive.]
