It might make more sense to initially get the word out to the rangers, since one person attempting to contact all the settlements would take a long time. From there, each could deal with settlements in their area.
OT: The general of the Minutemen is really a Combat Engineer Corporal, because he or she is expected to personally fight as infantry (aided by one companion) to save the settlement, then build a wall for them in the hope of making them less helpless. At least when I was the Madgod I could send troops to a troubled town for a lower reward or join the fight with troops for a higher reward.
He's a ranger - he'll have a network of other rangers to call. Rangers are a little more likely to survive/have_survived an attack. But I am quite sure he'll also contact anyone he can think of - even including New Troy/New Rome - there are always back channels. That little place that Jordan and Ivy dropped off Ophelia - it'll be on his list...
Could somebody explain that "...That's fair" to me? Maybe I'm just used to people being picky about what other people say, but I'm not sure I understand it, or the thought process behind it.
That said, really is nice to see a case of somebody deciding not to be too picky or take offense, regardless.
A: Logrin is an easy going guy, doesn't take offense easily
B: the insult was aimed at Logrins armor, not at Logrin
C: The armor really does look like it's ready for the biz-bag... or the decontamination tank, whichever is closer!
There is genuinely good reason to tell him to get out. He's covered with sweat and grime, and his armor's got random dirt and dust from the wastes on it. And in medical treatment that may involve debriding skin, sanitation is very important.
So he's essentially a porcupine in a room where they're trying to patch a balloon animal. 'Get the hell out' would be the most polite thing he'd normally be told. In context, Doc was being polite.
".... that's fair." Means Logrin has paused to think, realized he's already been treated better than the standard requires, and understands that time he spent arguing about it is also time spent being unsanitary in the wrong place.
And with that acknowledgement, he's leaving that area immediately because, as Doc pointed out, that's what Cyana needs.
Hats off to Katya for realizing that Cyana depends on this being done right.
Her experience with Medical teams has pretty much been Setorus, so she has good reason to worry. the kind of Gene therapy Setorus did on a regular basis was exacting, and I'm sure Katya saw how Setorus reacted when someone made a mistake... several times.
I'm hoping Robo-Hawkeye will put her at ease here as she helps.
As hard as I try to channel Alan Alda, I keep hearing the Dr from Voyager...
It might just be the dialogue suiting his voice better although I didn't watch it all that often.
That's possibly because there hasn't been an opportunity for some of Hawkeye's usual glib witticisms. There are usually more chances for him to joke around, diffusing tension. Robert Picardo, aka The Doctor has more of a sardonic, condescending humor earlier in the Voyager series, but he "lightens up" somewhat, later on..
I have a feeling a few of those calls may not have anyone alive there to answer.....I get the feeling we are about to go over the proverbial falls in a leaky barrel.
i think your timing was wrong... you asked when a kid was lying on a table..
but i think you meant ,, "will there be other "fan service" farther along.??"
and,, depending on who you ask ,, Yes , nudity is porn...
and finally,, we are not stomping you.!!(i'm not) .. i don't think the "Powers that Be." want any one to think this is a porn comic...
The problem with asking like that, is that now that that word (you know, the one that starts with 'p') and a couple of related words, are in the comments, there's going to be that much more fodder for various AI-algorithmic programs to grab, and depending on their purpose, either
(A) hide this page from people who don't turn off safe-search,
(B)recommend it as a good advertising site for the sort of thing that used to be called 'marital aids' or direct people to that aforementioned hub and sites like it.
(C) notify a whole bunch of ordinary advertisers that they don't want their advertising on this page nor even on any sites with a link to this page on them,
(D) drive down the price of ads on this page and therefore drive down Rose and Cent's revenue for them,
And so on.
The forum is generally a good investment in terms of attracting and holding interest and audience, but even a few requests like that one can seriously impact the benefit they get from it.
So don't do that. At least not on the same page the authors rely on for their living. I have nothing against material like that, in fact I quite enjoy it. But don't do things in a way that could hurt the artists. If that happens too much it could get a strictly rational businesswoman to shut the forum down completely.
I think Rashala may have a point, you have to survive an attack to report an attack and I have a feeling Logrim is going to find a lot of people not answering thier phone.
Here's hoping Logrin gets to the bottom of this soon!
Will be interesting if her sharp senses may help out the doctor in this case, that would be pretty neat.
...think of poor Cyana...
...and yeah, that info needs to be spread...
