I was thinking that Kyle is in his element dealing with the Cassians. and for their part, He repaired the AI for Nova Roma, and he is bringing honor to them by this escort mission.
(and he laughs at feelies jokes, that's an automatic win for her!)
I'm reminded of a security consultant I heard about years ago, with a Twitter account full of incorrect information. To the point that, one of the people I knew who worked with him called him in response to a Twitter update.
"Why are you in California today? We had a meeting scheduled."
Answer: "I'm not in California. Never trust anything I post on Twitter. I'll be there."
That's their job, and the job of most involved in investigations, to turn conversations to what they want to hear about and to drop in a little disinformation if required.
Gossip is one thing, usinggossip is another skill entirely :)
hifranc, the admin is the gossip. The intelligence agent is the one we have seen before and was on briefing team for the Lynn Rescue Mission. What I'm waiting for is when Kyle finds out what they did to his ship getting it back to Nova Illiam so quickly.
CentComm isn't using a similar amount of caution as she did when Acantha and Noctis arrived. There's no mecha-army! Maybe she realizes this isn't an invasion.
Re: Alt text, He does seem quite a bit more relaxed with them, now.
Given the NT cleanliness level, they wouldn't have had much trouble with the 'rona!
when a head of state arrives unannounced (future Queen, an head of security.) you do a "Show of Force.!" just in case...
these two are jus peons,, (VIP / diplomates yes. but still peons..).
Just because there was not a two-year negotiation leading up to the visit does not mean that the arrival was "unannounced". It most certainly WAS announced. If not, that ship on an ICMB trajectory would have experienced an unannounced rapid disassembly before it hit the troposphere.
The "show" of force was for the _comfort_ of the arriving party. Centcom is allowing 0% chance of a bad thing happening to her guest, and this is a demonstration of that intent.
"not a two-year negotiation leading up to the visit" is why it is unannounced .. you calling at 2 in the morning, an showing up 30 min later .. is still unannounced...
I know that I said I liked how Cella was dressed for this much better last page, but now that I see the full outfit with the leather mini skirt and Thigh-highs...
Am I the only one that is thinking the only thing missing is a police hat and a baton? Was I a bad boy?
Nah, she just needs the horn-rimmed eyeglasses for the "Hot Librarian" look. "Don't forget to return your books on time, or you could be will be punished!"
Feelie, tits have been weaponized for millennia. Quite aside from the Dr. Evil fem-bots and the aforementioned SLTs, they require no extra...hardware...to be Super Effective...
going back an looking,, the white pvc dress seems to be the "White Angel." uniform..
so either ' she was off duty, an showed as is.' (unlikely) or as boss, decided to ' dress for success .' ..
The more I get to know this cassian the more I keep seeing her and a certain search and rescue bot who rhymes with meedee getti g into crap at a bar together
o/‘ This is my sunshine ... only my sunshine. It makes me sleepy ... in times of day. You’ll never realize ... what I get into ... When they take ... my sunshine ... away. o/‘
In the spirit of someone clearly overthinking something intended purely as a visual element, I've been staring at Samanta's tits.
The arches we see above her neckline (the "seams") are exactly where the edges of a set of overlapping "layered" parts would fall, if you had behind them spherical surfaces that they could move an inch or two along the arc of the sphere, if you had some rigid medium (such as steel) and wanted to simulate something like natural movement of boobs with respect to gravity and momentum.
This would mean three-or-so broad, flatt-ish layers with wider-radius concave spherical surface on the proximal side and shorter-radius convex spherical surface on the distal side, no single layer of which is more than an inch and a half or so thick at its thickest point.
Now, if you were weaponizing those, what would they be packed with?
There's a bunch of combat-relevant things that don't care much what shape they're in: plastic explosives, emergency fuel, supercapacitors to power, um, well, everything but particularly SLTs ,,,,
But we haven't even gotten into the possibilities of drones, reactive armor, disc-type projectiles, dish antennas (assuming the exterior shells evert) etc....
Alt.Text. Kyle's just that kinda guy. Ya know.
(and he laughs at feelies jokes, that's an automatic win for her!)

ok, I'll get my head out of the gutter now...

@alt text: indeed, new friends...
@a/n: (why the sigh, Cent?)
That's my thought too. (Maybe it's the S.L.T. reference)
Here's a kitty!
Heard, but not seen, morning's evidence can only suggest.
