I just started reading Datachasers, and I like what I've seen thus far. But I had a question: On page 1, events start in 3875 and you say the war went over 300 years. But on page 2, you say the breakthrough that saved humankind happened in 2875. How is that explained? I'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely curious.
thank you very very much !! glad to see you !! the "current" year is 3825 .. although i think we messed up on dates here and there. >_< the intial heavy war went on for 300 years that was the WORST of the fighting =- small battles and skermishes continued for a LONG time ...

Brilliantly done on the city scapes. And yes, I WAS getting a bit nervous about the third city until I saw the note at the end. The world-building continues, and I think everyone not setting their comics in the real world could take a page from your book.
Thank you - this was a pain to render but worth it. and thanks for the kind words. one other thing I should mention - apparently we have a discussion group going so feel free to jump right in :D also in the archives there is a page marked "Recap" and that will pretty much bring you up to speed.. although you would miss a lot! :D
I'll get to 'recap' eventually. I want to do read this all. However it's gonna be slow going as I'm pretty much only reading stuff during breaks from working on my comic and other stuff...
I'm very impressed with this comic. Though... 1900 years in the future I figure we would be halfway done colonizing the Andromeda galaxy. Kinda like how in Halo, it's pretty much 600 years in the future and aside from space travel they barely have better tech than lead bullets and humvees. Are there aliens in this universe that aren't letting humanity branch out since we're such warmongers or something?
"When faced with extinction, every option becomes favorable."-Leonard Church from Red vs. Blue (awesome series, check it out on youtube) (and no I'm not advertising my own creation)

I wonder if the place of philosopher-kings would be more of a New Athens...?
