I don't understand Lynn. After hearing what she's eating, I got hungry and had to make something to eat.

The stuff that doesn't exist yet still sounds good.

Agreed. Also, what is the difference between the processed food and regular food?

Processed food is sterilized and has almost no chance of harming the consumer real food on occasion can make you very sick if mis prepared

Two great sci-fi stories pop into my mind reading this.
In one a guy from the moon goes to earth and discovers spices, on the moon everyone eats synthetic food, including synthetic spices. He wins a food prep contest until the judges discover that "you fed us DIRT!?!?!" because of the garlic in his food.
The other one addressed various types of food flavoring and how the most popular were based on meat, the lawyer for one side actually had to explain carnivore to the judge. Then explaining why the other corporation made an unfair type of food, he had to explain another word, cannibal.

The first one is "Good Taste", by Isaac Asimov. I regret I don't recognize the other.
