Stopping off here for today. I absolutely love this story so far. Centcomm, you've absolutely outdone yourself. If you don't mind me asking, what do you use to make these comics, program-wise?
And thank you ! Rose is the co creator of this little gem! I use Daz Studio as my main work horse, the figures base meshes are created by Daz I then mod the heck out of them and add textures ( from renderosity links are in the links page bottom) I have also used poser 4 and 7 but not on the comic. as files arent cross compatable out of studio. ( daz is a free program btw )
Forgive me... The very first people that Dolly and Ceci meet, they talk secret language in front of an android (and human for that matter) that androids can overhear and almost blow their cover? Not very bright. And these total strangers tell <Kat's Sister> to keep a secret from Logrin and she immediately believes them and agrees? Forgive me... My son hates when I watch a movie with him and point out plot holes.
hey no problem - there were several directions we went and we were still learning at the time. a lot of these plot holes and other issues will be fixed in the rewrites and redos.. Hopefully you can look past our "baby steps" :D
also Dusty is a "genetic construct" not a andriod. most people do NOT understand the "chirps" and its something you do have to LISTEN for .. its actually not as obvious as it seems.
Dusty is a human with Cat DNA, who can therefore hear sounds humans can't, but she can't understand it.
The sounds are just above human hearing, so any cat, dog, bat, etc. would hear it. But whether regular animal or bioroid, all they hear is a chirp. Think about hearing the old modem noise, you can hear it, and if you know what it is you know communication is happening, but it means nothing to non-computers.

(Admittedly, "bio-plastic" is an unclear concept that hasn't really been explained anywhere IIRC...)
