Probably no place is completely safe.

I can think of one place. New Troy. But getting there is part of the "way out" they're talking about.

You think New Troy is safe, with CentComm in charge? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :-D

Sure wouldn't be safe for Acantha (as a member of the ruling class of a hostile city state)... and don't forget that Cent put out order to bring Lynn back dead or alive. :-p

This is true. BUT, if Lynn were back in New Troy, CentComm would likely go out of her way to protect Lynn. And probably Acantha as well, in an attempt to keep drekhead from doing anything foolish (and also to ensure a friendly replacement is on hand in the event of drekhead's untimely demise...)

Don't forget, CentComm is EVIL... Oh, right, that is the ARTIST CentComm. The comic CentComm is only RUTHLESS (what does she have against Ruth anyhow? :-D).

I've got the feeling there is more going on here than CentComm (EITHER of them) is telling us. :-)

So I'm not 100% convinced that either one of them would be 'safe'. SAFER probably than being anywhere near Douche-bag, but not 100% safe.

And I think Acantha would hate New Troy, because her movements would probably be restricted for everyone's safety. She would be in her own Glass Prison. :-)

"while you visit here, your movements will be restricted for your own safety. Dolly is to be your caretaker for the duration of your stay" :P

It would be interesting to see how Acantha and Dolly got along. Or Calliope and Acantha.
Stormwind13 28th Jul 2013, 8:04 AM edit delete reply

That could be GOOD for Calliope, I would think. Acantha suffered about the same losses Calliope did, but reacted WAY different. :-)

Acantha might do more to bring her back (to her old self) than anyone else could. I'm figuring that Calliope was a lot more outgoing and adventurous in the past based on the fact she not only MEET a Wastelander (in his area) but loved and MARRIED him (See Personal Questions & Remembering Dad).

After his loss, she seems to have retreated from the world from the sounds of things. And kind of left Dolly to be Lynn's mother, almost like she was afraid to be too close to anyone again.

Hey, being Ruthless doesn't mean you have something against Ruth, it just means you don't have Ruth. Maybe you follow Ruth around, use binoculars to try to see into her windows, and have to keep out of sight of the police because of the restraining order Ruth has on you...

'Ruthless' invariably reminds me of the intro to "Nick Danger" ;)
