It's only a superficial observation triggered by the visual difference between ship and store.
Old fashioned never really goes away, it just retreats to the ragged edges.

not every place is as advanced as New troy .. or even Nova Roma .. :D they are really in the sticks as it were :)

I read the MTPs. If you are going to bring all those categories up to current information density levels you will probably have to swear off eating and sleeping!

A non-urgent suggestion: Maps; Maps are nice and orienting. It's good to know where the 'dragons'* are!
