cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 1:20 AM edit delete reply

Social... (?)(!!!)
Stormwind13 7th Oct 2013, 7:26 AM edit delete reply

Dolly used words and TALKED to another entity (classifying Dari as human would be insulting to the rest of the race though), so I think that qualifies as being social, Cat. :-D

I wonder if poor Ms. Badluck is still 'on ice' in Breaker's cellar?
wright1 9th Jul 2012, 7:25 AM edit delete reply
Even in this bar, what's about to happen will probably get the survivor thrown out...
Marcus Ramesy 9th Jul 2012, 8:19 AM edit delete reply

that depends on if you can beat the bouncers, and the rest of the clientel that is bound to be carying weapons.. and looking for a fight.
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 9:05 AM edit delete reply

Not to mention she quite possibly may be preempting somebody else from collecting those 5000 Marks on Ms. Badluck's head!
Marcus Ramesy 9th Jul 2012, 11:33 AM edit delete reply

if there were others there to collect the bounty... i doubt dolly would be getting to her first...
Centcomm 9th Jul 2012, 11:37 AM edit delete reply

Very good point marchande ..
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 11:56 AM edit delete reply

Beginners Luck?

cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 12:13 PM edit delete reply

Of course a rational intelligent Nova Roman security agent* might be dangling Ms. Badluck out there as bait to see what's biting during this time of exceptionally turbid waters.

*(And there is at least one.)
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 12:23 PM edit delete reply

Oh: And inquiring minds want to know; "Heatsink" A direct description or slang with implications?
Centcomm 9th Jul 2012, 12:26 PM edit delete reply

Slang with implications... :D and its very possable.. cant answer that one right yet.
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 12:34 PM edit delete reply

Well Nicolo certainly wouldn't qualify as Dari's heatsink because he's definitely not a fan!
Centcomm 9th Jul 2012, 12:40 PM edit delete reply

He knows her rep as a black cat ..*snickers*
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 12:47 PM edit delete reply

So he's not taking any chances walking under her... Smart dude! And you notice how he managed to leave just before the excitement revs up too.
Centcomm 9th Jul 2012, 12:50 PM edit delete reply

he saw the very angry looking lady with blue hair walking toward them and decided to GTFO...
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 1:04 PM edit delete reply

Very good tactical situational awareness!

And a little inspirational input for you.*

Centcomm 9th Jul 2012, 1:22 PM edit delete reply

haha so cute ! I love it - cue cat fight in ....3
CyberSkull 9th Jul 2012, 6:38 PM edit delete reply

Wrong approach, should have come in as a prospective employee instead.
cattservant 9th Jul 2012, 8:12 PM edit delete reply

Not sure she really wants information. But as a representative of the law, she is kind of Dudley Do-Right!
CyberSkull 11th Jul 2012, 9:43 AM edit delete reply

The only "law" in the wasteland is whomever is the most heavily armed and willing to use it.
cattservant 11th Jul 2012, 10:34 AM edit delete reply

I was referring to Dolly's style.
Centcomm 11th Jul 2012, 10:44 AM edit delete reply

Note : she never said she was a law enforcer..
cattservant 11th Jul 2012, 11:02 AM edit delete reply

Agreed. I mean that way she is presenting herself is somewhat stiff and officious.* Dari immediately thinks Dolly is a ranger or a cop.

*(Of course Dolly hasn't had much previous experience starting bar fights! Not to mention that she is going through a paradigm shift in her relationships with her Directives.)
Centcomm 11th Jul 2012, 11:07 AM edit delete reply

Heh .. What directives. points to next page :D
cattservant 11th Jul 2012, 11:22 AM edit delete reply

Exactly, you're so precise! It's no wonder Dolly is smiling while she's dancing!
mushroomisland 11th Jul 2012, 3:47 PM edit delete reply

No, Dolly, I think what you want to say is: "Confess or I'll beat you until you do. And then I'll beat you up even more."
Centcomm 11th Jul 2012, 3:48 PM edit delete reply

*claps* ding ding ding ! You got it ! but its so hard to break that old polite habit >_<
velvetsanity 10th Apr 2013, 3:26 AM edit delete reply

I was going to offer up the Inigo Montoya quote here, but it doesn't quite fit the situation. Since she's only going to beat on her until she tells what she did with Lynn and who has her, and all.

For some reason I got reminded of a scene in Babylon 5 (from the episode "Ceremonies of Light and Dark") where the ranger Marcus tries to get some information from some thugs in a seedy tavern (much worse than "Breaker's"):
Thug: We don't talk to security. Why should we talk to you?
Marcus Cole: Because if you don't, then in five minutes, I will be the only person at this table still standing.
[Thug starts laughing]
Marcus Cole: . Five minutes after that, I'll be the only person in this room still standing.
Ten minutes later Marcus prediction has come true and he comments: "Bugger! Now I have to wait for someone to wake up. " :-)
