This small triptych is really first rate. There is a huge and wide ranging amount of sub-texts just below a charming surface vignette. Thank you for sharing!
Just thank you.
Lovely side story.
I also like the title "memory shard" to refer to something long ago and only stored in a memory chip.
It's hopefully not a memory shard by now.....
About the only thing I can come up with in trying to apply said accent to Dolly's voice is Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider...but I haven't been able to reconcile that with the voice I've had for Dolly this whole time.
Sorry for Necroposting, this, but I've read and re-read from beginning to end 3 times and I am now on my fourth time through.
As I read this, EVERYTHING Clicked for me. Just why Dolly is so protective of the Taylor family and just how Calliope's breakdown earlier came about.
Thank you to both Centcomm and Tokyo Rose for your writing, and art. You have given me an engaging story with good artwork. And I signed up on Comicfury JUST to subscribe to this and Luna Star.
Thank you again.
ETA: And I've always thought Dolly had a Boston Accent. At least that is the voice in my head for her when I read her speech bubbles.
Or maybe I'm supposed to hear Emma Peel instead ?
Lovely side story.
