"URK!" Indeed!
cattservant 21st Aug 2012, 8:25 PM edit delete reply

The Negotiations are nicely under way. Mr. Lambert will no doubt maximize his profit margin and survivability!

Also, he seems to have a healthy skepticism about certain aspects of the New Troy government.
Centcomm 21st Aug 2012, 8:37 PM edit delete reply

indeed he does - its a trademark thing :D
Kanela 21st Aug 2012, 8:33 PM edit delete reply

AHA!!!! Supervisor Tillerman had it coming, yes!!! XD
Centcomm 21st Aug 2012, 8:38 PM edit delete reply

Oh he sooo had it coming ( not a good idea to be bigoted against someone when another one is so near - Cella heard the entire exchange... and ISnt happy
cattservant 21st Aug 2012, 8:49 PM edit delete reply

Probably at least a sympathizer with the TEEDEE philosophy of Human Relations.
Centcomm 21st Aug 2012, 9:27 PM edit delete reply

Centcomm 21st Aug 2012, 9:42 PM edit delete reply

Actually Cella doesnt really have a opinon.
except where it affects the city..
cattservant 21st Aug 2012, 10:02 PM edit delete reply

A 'born' professional. Even so, I'm almost certain that she is well aware of the illogical, random nature of the protoplasmicial portion of the population.
Fairportfan 22nd Aug 2012, 3:01 AM edit delete reply

"Trouble with a capital 'T'..."

...for the Tillerman.
cattservant 22nd Aug 2012, 3:17 AM edit delete reply

A Meredith Wilson and a Cat Stevens references I think...
Fairportfan 22nd Aug 2012, 4:04 AM edit delete reply

Yep. My sense of humour is inevitably going to get me transferred to a Very Warm Climate...
Centcomm 22nd Aug 2012, 11:43 AM edit delete reply

mushroomisland 22nd Aug 2012, 6:17 AM edit delete reply

Centcomm 22nd Aug 2012, 11:44 AM edit delete reply

Oh but that would end the humilation ... :D
KarToon12 22nd Aug 2012, 8:49 AM edit delete reply

Urk....Is that not the sound of a URK HEART ATTACK....thud
Centcomm 22nd Aug 2012, 11:45 AM edit delete reply

no thats the sound of him realizing that eyes are going to be watching him very very closely..
cattservant 22nd Aug 2012, 12:05 PM edit delete reply

Mr. Blue A is going to be going outside more often it seems...
Stormwind13 8th Oct 2013, 8:25 AM edit delete reply

Watched by hawks that CAN do something to him, unlike the poor androids that have been left in his 'care' (so carelessly) for far too long. I hope he SUFFERS from the attention. :-) Give him a taste of his own medicine in knowing that his career hangs in the balance.
velvetsanity 16th May 2017, 4:13 AM edit delete reply

And in NT, that likely translates to "he's up shit creek without a paddle" :D

(Hope we eventually get at least a short blog post telling what happens to him and/or Connie's orange coworker)
hoppy 22nd Aug 2012, 12:00 PM edit delete reply
Terrible operational security Cella's part thought talking him into it in front of a stupid loud mouthed bigot who has allot of contact with traders. Mr Lambert can't be to happy about that.
Centcomm 22nd Aug 2012, 12:37 PM edit delete reply

No, honestly thats a storyteller goof - sorry about that :D
Tokyo Rose 10th Sep 2012, 11:44 PM edit delete reply

Actually, what you can't see from the camera angles (and wasn't made clear in text either, so we both goofed) is that Connie and the supervisor are standing rather outside easy hearing range. Yes, androids have sharper senses than humans, so Connie could have eavesdropped; assume that Cella isn't a dumbass and knows this, and so had a white-noise generator of some kind to cover the discussion . . .
wright1 22nd Aug 2012, 2:17 PM edit delete reply
Ah, the sound of a bigot's big, stinky chickens comin' home to roost; very satisfying. Should happen more often in real life.

As with most of the other posters, liking Lambert more and more. He's a decent guy and believably skeptical for a Wastelands trader.
CyberSkull 25th Aug 2012, 3:36 AM edit delete reply

And Blue Asshole's in a spasm now! :D
antrik 29th Apr 2017, 12:41 PM edit delete reply
"Yet." :-)

Seems to be an offer he cannot refuse...
