Oh he sooo had it coming ( not a good idea to be bigoted against someone when another one is so near - Cella heard the entire exchange... and ISnt happy
A 'born' professional. Even so, I'm almost certain that she is well aware of the illogical, random nature of the protoplasmicial portion of the population.
Watched by hawks that CAN do something to him, unlike the poor androids that have been left in his 'care' (so carelessly) for far too long. I hope he SUFFERS from the attention. :-) Give him a taste of his own medicine in knowing that his career hangs in the balance.
Terrible operational security Cella's part thought talking him into it in front of a stupid loud mouthed bigot who has allot of contact with traders. Mr Lambert can't be to happy about that.
Actually, what you can't see from the camera angles (and wasn't made clear in text either, so we both goofed) is that Connie and the supervisor are standing rather outside easy hearing range. Yes, androids have sharper senses than humans, so Connie could have eavesdropped; assume that Cella isn't a dumbass and knows this, and so had a white-noise generator of some kind to cover the discussion . . .
Also, he seems to have a healthy skepticism about certain aspects of the New Troy government.
except where it affects the city..
...for the Tillerman.
(Hope we eventually get at least a short blog post telling what happens to him and/or Connie's orange coworker)
As with most of the other posters, liking Lambert more and more. He's a decent guy and believably skeptical for a Wastelands trader.
Seems to be an offer he cannot refuse...
