I think Centcomm may value TeeDee more for her dramatic intensity* than all of her other finely honed skills...

*(Not to say passion!)
Centcomm 2nd Oct 2012, 4:17 AM edit delete reply

Thats one of the many things Cent "likes" about TD
Draginbeard 1st Oct 2012, 9:24 PM edit delete reply

Thinking about the Beast in storage. Is Mr. Lambert using the Q-drives to make back ups, or is he removing the AI altogether as a security measure? So no one can gather any useful intelligence while he is gone.

Also, does the new grav hauler have it's own drive brain program or could Beast be used to run a such a different vehicle?
Centcomm 2nd Oct 2012, 12:14 PM edit delete reply

one - he doesnt want someone scrounging his data - so yes its a security mesure - yes the Drive brain matrixm, can be used for another vehicle as long as it has the profile for the vehicle loaded into its list of "skills" the new grav- hauler does not have a drive brain it has a auto-pilot being a older craft. thus why connie and black are needed to drive it

Centcomm has all sorts of useful things tucked away in her junk closet!

An essentially immortal obsessive compulsive with the resources to make it work!
cattservant 2nd Oct 2012, 12:16 PM edit delete reply

Speaking of body language; This page says a lot even with the 'sound' turned down!
jas 2nd Oct 2012, 3:35 PM edit delete reply

Wow, pretty touching page. And TD only cursed once...that's gotta be a record of some kind!

Seriously, this is a good page at showing how close the two of them really are. Nice job with both the writing and the body language.
Centcomm 2nd Oct 2012, 3:41 PM edit delete reply

She gets paid by the swearword .. seriously though - these two are very close in a totally NON wierd dirty way >_<
I know I know rule 34.. Pics or it never happened !! XD

Centcomm 2nd Oct 2012, 5:36 PM edit delete reply

mushroomisland 2nd Oct 2012, 10:07 PM edit delete reply

agreed that they're pretty...they both look so much better lol! And...hopefully it all goes well o_o
velvetsanity 11th Apr 2013, 5:30 PM edit delete reply

I'm thinking TD just doesn't realize how much firepower the human body in and of itself has...primarily because it's of a different type than she's used to putting to use.
xpacetrue 12th Apr 2014, 3:45 PM edit delete reply

Please excuse me if this was supposed to be obvious, but:

Is "The Promise" TeeDee is referring to that if either of them gets totally messed up from a body reload to the point that they are not the same person, then the other must shoot them and put them out of their misery?

The way TeeDee is holding that gun and the way Ada is looking at it, that's the only thing that comes to mind.

But that's... pretty extreme. It DOES show how much they trust each other. But... wow! I doubt Cent or the authorities would look kindly on their promise. Even if Ada was "different", as long as she's stable doesn't she still have a right to exist?
Centcomm 12th Apr 2014, 5:41 PM edit delete reply

the key element is that If Ada was "wrong" Teedee wouldnt care about the conciquinces - she would rather deal with the fall out than watch a "empty shell" pretending its Ada ..

You know, if one of my friends thought I was a pod person got a gun and then started interrogating me after I just woke up after a hard day I'd. . . probably get myself shot.
