No talking to him. She'd be better just to give him the "yes yes" treatment and do what she wants anyway.
Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 3:08 AM edit delete reply

1 ) Saying yes to Deck is not always a good thing.

2) And yes you already realized that ..
plymayer 9th Oct 2012, 9:06 PM edit delete reply

Although, that could be dangerous too.
Draginbeard 9th Oct 2012, 10:47 PM edit delete reply

Okay...Deck has that 'Norman Bates' crazy aura about him...

Great work with the dialog! The art is getting more and more cinematic, I'm not sure if that's from the shading or just the scene. Absolutely fantastic!

Oh yes - this train is headed at high speed to bad town..This is the thing that scared Lynn In the throne room ...

And thank you - ive been working on the lighting ..

This guy is delusional. Always listen to delusional people because one day they will get paranoid and they'll remember who didn't listen.
Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 3:15 AM edit delete reply

Oh yes rght .. on .. the .. nose...
CyberSkull 10th Oct 2012, 12:42 AM edit delete reply

Time to make a choice, do you:

A. Listen to crazy exposition?
B. Gently slide your hand to the Plasma Obliteratron™ under your pillow?
C. Interpretive dance party!
Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 3:16 AM edit delete reply

C! - I pick C!

*hangs head... wow im sad

It's so hard to get people to understand what's right for them!*
What's an enlightened and compassionate Ruler to do?

Marcus Ramesy 10th Oct 2012, 6:51 AM edit delete reply

Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 8:44 AM edit delete reply

Ok point ...
hoppy 10th Oct 2012, 1:25 PM edit delete reply
Unless they are all out to get you because you are threatening them because you think they are out to get you.
GhostRider 10th Nov 2015, 10:26 AM edit delete reply
@hoppy, I think you made my mind explode with that.

I'm not sure why the natural course for unsophisticated paranoia with delusions of antagonism would confuse someone, let alone cause major mental distress.

If you blatantly tell everyone you don't trust them and threaten them constantly, it doesn't matter how loyal to you they start out as, they will eventually turn on you for their own safety.

Also, even if everyone *is* out to get you, if your reasoning for thinking that is not based on reality, you're still insane.

Finally, technically speaking, paranoia is just the belief that everything you experience is directed towards you. Which is a pretty easy insanity for a hereditary ruler to get, since so much of what they experience will be directed towards them. People only associate it with delusions of antagonism because it so frequently produces that condition. For the paranoid, there aren't many options for the purpose of conversations that stop when one enters. And Deck didn't get *nearly* enough surprise parties when he was growing up for that to be the explanation. It's far too late for that now.

Disclaimer: not a shrink. I've just been accused of this a few too many times, because I'm really cautious. Not quite 'the reasonable man' cautious, but close.

I really hope Lynn wakes up and decks him. >:(

Rashala 10th Oct 2012, 2:07 PM edit delete reply

personally I amhopign for the REctal insertion of her taser sword in Nutball
Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 3:19 PM edit delete reply

sheeesh .. some real deck haters out there .. come on princy needs some love! *ducks*
Speedy Marsh 29th Oct 2016, 9:35 AM edit delete reply
Decimus does need love. Tough love. Like Rashala said, Acantha needs to insert her taser sword into Deck's posterior, because it's probably the only lever that can possibly pry Deck's head free from his sphincter.
LooeyQ 10th Oct 2012, 4:19 PM edit delete reply

Some one really needs to DECK Deck in the face! If I we're there I know I would!
KA-BLAMSKI! Right in the kisser. No one pulls a girls hair on my watch. Except, 6 year olds, its cute when they do it.

Maybe she wouldn't avoid them if what lurked behind them resembled something human...
mushroomisland 10th Oct 2012, 6:21 PM edit delete reply

So when is he getting his head smashed
Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 7:03 PM edit delete reply

O-o heh geee a bit violent there ? :P
mushroomisland 10th Oct 2012, 7:11 PM edit delete reply

there's a general consensus that he does deserve some pain - someone mentioned castration - I say go for it.
Mikromancer 10th Oct 2012, 8:50 PM edit delete reply
he's beginning to remind me of that guy in Fable 3 :/
Centcomm 10th Oct 2012, 8:55 PM edit delete reply

Not sure who that is .. :P
Mikromancer 12th Oct 2012, 6:48 PM edit delete reply
The King, who at the start of the game is the bad guy, being a tyrant and an evil prick, later on you find out that he was only doing what was (in his eyes) neccessary to save his people from a great external threat.
