You know, she actually is.
Stormwind13 29th Jun 2013, 12:04 PM edit delete reply

No, no... She is DEDICATED!!! To the point of being NOTHING but dedicated (or at least she was before Breaker got his hands on her). :-D
cattservant 29th Jun 2013, 3:17 PM edit delete reply

To be 'stuffy' you have to have substance to begin with!
Stormwind13 29th Jun 2013, 3:49 PM edit delete reply

Well she was fairly substantial at the beginning of the story and she has only gotten MORE substantial as the comic has gone on.

Actually I can see why Dolly feels that her new 5.0 chassis is somewhat of a letdown. Even if there hadn't been an emergency, Dolly would have been too 'polite' to decline Calliope Taylor's gift.*

*(And I'm sure Mrs. Taylor never even considered that Dolly might have some reservations.)
Stormwind13 29th Jun 2013, 5:13 PM edit delete reply

I think Dolly is equating different to inferior. I expect Dolly to become accustomed to the new chassis and its potential, and realize that it actually is an upgrade.
Guess we will wait and see as she learns more about the body in the pages to come.
cattservant 29th Jun 2013, 5:22 PM edit delete reply

Maybe if Dolly moderates her alcohol intake, she will learn 'new things' of some substantial interest.
Stormwind13 29th Jun 2013, 7:26 PM edit delete reply

Anyhow, I don't think there IS any back. I mean, the upgrades they did overclocked her compared to her old rig. I don't think they can go BACK to something like that now. Her OS isn't compatible with it.

Indeed, nostalgia and change anxiety!
Centcomm 29th Jun 2013, 6:35 PM edit delete reply

Dear Remaster Racer; You do know that you "can't eat just one!"?

[Very nice indeed! Does this have something to do with shrinking page count up there in the 'future'?]
Centcomm 11th Jul 2013, 11:59 PM edit delete reply

yep it does indeed :D each "new" page equals about 4 old single panel ones.
KarToon12 12th Jul 2013, 10:31 AM edit delete reply

WOW....these remastered pages look AWESOME! Comparing them to the old, it's easy to see how much the software changed.
Centcomm 12th Jul 2013, 11:08 AM edit delete reply

Eventually I hope to replace most all the crap ones over time. that will proably cull 200 pages off the count :D and yeah it has .... a LOT
