Arr, called me bluff! >^~O^<!
Starting about Comic 191 to Comic 198 [Hallway talk],
we find Maxus being protective and sympathetic.
He was markedly informative, considering Lynn's status.
He makes sure that Prince Decimus gets plenty of credit for this brilliant scheme
and fills Lynn in on the political situation in Nova Roma.
Lynn, of course, is significantly distracted at that time.
She does ask a pertinent question of Maxus though.
Cattservant pretty much covered what I wanted to say. I'll just add that Lynn seems to be getting over her culture shock; making a friend, surmounting a crisis and being young certainly help with that.
This time I think she has the leisure to really soak up what Maxus has to say, which should help her survive the *next* encounter she has with a certain unstable tyrant.
Poor Girl. I know the feeling too. Have this wonderful confrontation and rant all planned out in your head. Damn the consequences. Open your mouth to give them an exfoliation treatment from just your vocabulary, and then they have the sheer gall to APOLOGIZE. Bastards =P

I still prefer "Italian pit stop".
I've seen an Italian pit stop.
Not a sight you forget easily.
I really liked that one - it wound up being covered but in panels 5 and 6 shes playing with the bracelet ..
I doubt he'll say that next though, lol
