Oh my! Datachasers has hit 100 subscribers! *gleeee* thank you . each and every one of you wonderful people! i'm going to do something special for you .. just.. give me a little time! ^_^
I'll cop to it; I was a very loud voice in describing exactly what I wanted Aeneas to look like. Di is responsible for the base model design (thanks, Di!) and Cent managed the cracked-porcelain look I insisted on . . .
Acantha did mention that her friend IS this place. (But yes, Aeneas implemented a subroutine that oversees the climate control, lighting, plumbing, and other details of Acantha's room. It has nothing to do except basic maintenance when she's not there, so it's actually kind of reasonable to say that her room "misses" her...)
A great scene, further establishing that Aeneas is immensely (dangerously) powerful and fragile.
It's also great seeing Acantha in a place where she feels truly secure (as her own quarters in the palace turned out not to be). Lynn may be in for some surprises as her new friend really lets her hair down.
I might assume that very soon the birdie will be singing from Nova Illium as far as Decimus instruments show and the bracelet is deactivated, if Lynn comes to trust Aeneas. Right now all she wants to do is rabbit, even back to Decimus just to get away from close proximity to the loony tune in charge.
As Acantha's noted several times, she doesn't really "understand" the tech around her, and even knowing the stories of what Aeneas did, she doesn't really connect THAT to him as he is now. Lynn DOES understand the tech. She knows what a city AIS can do. She would be happier if she were on a unicycle juggling antimatter right now . . .
He looks awesome.
Like seriously, he's a badass already when he has the mask, but he somehow looks even more badass without it. :P
How much Spoon is there?
Careful what you wish for Lynn...
How loud is the 'little bird' singing?
Decimus must be a little grumpy if he knows where Lynn is at!
Also, the cake is a lie.
(since, you know, he mentioned a lack thereof...)
