Oh wow, Dollys inner monalogue sounds a little bit like a she is describing a day in the life of a teenager! Forgive me if lm way off base here, but is this how alcohol effects her, or is the new body going through a form of puberty?
Clearly, she's not a child, as her technical physical age would be. (She has far too many years of experience to be one.) But clearly, she is not acting her mental age. Her emotions place her firmly in the middle, between the two.
She has the knowledge and experience of her many years...but the lack of discipline and control of a younger person. The two pretty much can't spell out anything other than Teen. :P
Welcome to humanity Dolly, we ain't perfect but we try, we ain't pretty but we pretend, and we sure as hell ain't intelligent, but we are persistent. So far we're the top of the food chain... so far.as we know anyway
Ideally she would have been given days to months to fully adjust to the input she is getting from her new (squishy) body. As it is, she is out on a STRESSFUL mission (it doesn't get a whole lot more stressful than the kidnapping of a child <from Dolly's point of view, Lynn is a child>) and trying to cope with the input. I'm kind of surprised she hasn't gone catatonic and just frozen up. Says something about just how TOUGH Dolly is that she is functioning as well as she is.
Q: What kind of machine is that in panel 1? Is that an ice maker? A food replicator? Perhaps a music machine? A storage locker? It can't be a fridge, because we see one behind Breaker and it looks normal.
It looks futuristic, sure. But what it could be baffles me. :P
My upside down might be rusty, but is that phone labeled "Derpberry"?
By the way...I LOVE THE DRAMA! I've followed since the beginning, never saying any thing (Derp), but constantly revel in the artistry and dialog. I really am blown away.

[Take everything under advisement!]
*(At least for the duration of this slippery stormy sub rosa night.)
[It might be a nice touch to reference the storm occasionally. An atmospheric touch, so to speak...]
