*waits for someone to ask about Friendly feline aliens*
Jack Munroe 6th Mar 2013, 11:46 PM edit delete reply
There is no such thing as a friendly feline anything. They just pretend to be lovable so you will feed them.
GhostRider 13th Nov 2015, 9:45 AM edit delete reply
Well, there's cattservant. Don't know if that qualifies or not. (For friendly feline anything.)
Centcomm 7th Mar 2013, 8:24 AM edit delete reply

they are very close to plants .. :D as for friendly alien cats well.... we havent revealed all the races yet.

@jack HAH so true.
Speedy 8th Nov 2016, 8:54 AM edit delete reply
The Kilrathi from Wing Commander probably embody the most typical feline alien temperament.

Like terrestrial felines, their most common emotions are Kill!, wrath, and apathy. Hmm... say those three really fast...
Draginbeard 6th Mar 2013, 10:55 PM edit delete reply

If you show another of the Epiphytes, I'd love to see her look a little like Virginia Hey, because Zhaan deserves more love.
Centcomm 7th Mar 2013, 8:23 AM edit delete reply

good show , never really got into it - but it was a good one :D
Draginbeard 7th Mar 2013, 9:46 AM edit delete reply

It was well written, but you had to get used to, and see past all the puppets to really enjoy the show.
Centcomm 7th Mar 2013, 11:24 AM edit delete reply

I actually didnt mind the puppets .. they didnt have commonplace CGI so it works .
velvetsanity 18th Apr 2013, 5:08 AM edit delete reply

I met Ms Hey at DragonCon in 2005. She's a very wonderful person, full of light and love. Deeply spiritual and at peace with herself. Meeting her was definitely one of the high points of DragonCon. ^_^
Centcomm 18th Apr 2013, 5:52 AM edit delete reply

Oooh what year I was there 2005 and 2006 :D
velvetsanity 18th Apr 2013, 7:13 AM edit delete reply

*points at the first part of her previous statement* 2005
Centcomm 18th Apr 2013, 7:21 AM edit delete reply

oh durrr - we were in the grand costume show that year ;D best in horror .. :D
velvetsanity 18th Apr 2013, 7:24 AM edit delete reply

I think I saw the costume contest...missed the Dawn one, though (at that point I'd never heard of Joe Linsner *or* Dawn)
Centcomm 18th Apr 2013, 7:31 AM edit delete reply

the girl that won - with giant bat wings that hugged the MC ( George Takei ) I was with her in the back
KarToon12 7th Mar 2013, 8:13 AM edit delete reply

Poor Tulip; she lost her homeworld. :(

At least she's trying to help her new home.
Centcomm 7th Mar 2013, 8:26 AM edit delete reply

they are a very old race , the sun they are from was unstable. but in glactic terms they had a LOT of warning. so were able to plan and take action to save thier race.
Tokyo Rose 7th Mar 2013, 7:16 PM edit delete reply

Not like the dipshit Romulans in Star Trek 2009, who had some warning and apparently blew it off because they're asshats.
velvetsanity 26th Mar 2013, 12:03 PM edit delete reply

much like humans probably will, if we don't grow up and get over ourselves :P
Chris D 2nd Oct 2015, 10:55 PM edit delete reply
The sun will grow very, very slowly. We'll have plenty of time to either halt its growth, reverse it, prevent it from happening in the first place, or get the hell out of dodge. We're too technologically advanced to ever go back to the stone age. Enough would survive even a worldwide extinction event to shorly rebuild back up to at least the late 1800's, early 1900's technology wise.
velvetsanity 19th May 2017, 11:19 PM edit delete reply

Compared to the level of technology needed for any of the survival options you mentioned, late 1800s/early 1900s *is* Stone Age :P
Dragonrider 7th Mar 2013, 9:29 AM edit delete reply

Still want to know about your comment about Dryads, and wondering if that means we will meet the rest of the Fey court*really hopes not; too damn many of them would eat their own grandmothers for a tea time snack*.
Centcomm 7th Mar 2013, 11:25 AM edit delete reply

well The E-pips were mistaken for a lot of the nature fey because of thier varyed shapes and forms. three have been also trolls and there are a few other critters out there that have been around a long time :D
Tokyo Rose 7th Mar 2013, 7:18 PM edit delete reply

Yup, case of mistaken identity there. Hey, green people who apparently came from the trees or the sky and know how to grow things and take care of plants? Must be nature spirits of some kind!
cattservant 7th Mar 2013, 1:53 PM edit delete reply

Currently reduced to lurking in libraries full of pollen afflicted people.! Once I return from exile in the sniffly Great Green North Florida springtime woods, I'm going to have a lot of asimilating to do!

[Your 2D disguise is quite charming!]
Centcomm 7th Mar 2013, 4:04 PM edit delete reply

was wondering what happened to you ! glad to see your back!
mushroomisland 19th Mar 2013, 11:58 AM edit delete reply

Centcomm 19th Mar 2013, 12:03 PM edit delete reply
