on a side note.. NEW COMPUTER!! Not sure how this will affect updates.. backing up data and files are taking a long time. ( gotta make sure all the comic files are safe :D ) once i get everything settled things will go back to normal, this week is buffered :D
My opinion: Ceci you're NOT broken, You're perfect AND you're a PERSON Not a Doll mindlessly following a set program.
And If centy tries to change you when this is over. .*STARES* I've had MANY years working with computers...I am fairly sure I can find somewhere somehow to make Centy Have a nervious twitch or Sneeze whenever someone says the word IT.
I think it is fairly obvious what Centcom did. The angels are nodes of a distributed system called "Centcom", whereas Ceci is a system unto herself. There is no other practical way of doing the mission. Centcom gave Ceci independent agency so that she could function while completely detached from the main Centcom self. Any reliable communication between an Angel-type node and Centcom would be likely to be intercepted by Nova Roma, thus detrimental to the mission.
I am guessing that the Angels have a large degree of agency, but that is mostly related to local matters like what action to do next, how to react, etc. Policy and planning would go to some process in Centcom. They have to have some kind of agency within them because there are all sorts of things that interrupt communication on a good day, than even a minor lapse in communication would be disastrous.
actually the computer is part of a early B-day prezzy from a good friend. its a HUGE upgrade for me. going from 4gb of ram to 16 gb and a much better processor and vid card. YAY!!!!
Looks like Cyber Skull hit it on the head, however doubt Ceci would want to go to college with Lynn. Excellent page as always, happy-happy, I will be absent for most of the next month moving to take a new job and will have to do several days at a time to stay current, will add my never humble opinion when I can.
Ultimately all of this is preperation for CentComm to pull a Skynet and replace the human race with her droids. So an experiment like Ceci incorperating random probabilities and adaptability should be expected.
Dolly is a good role model for CeCi. However, she was a long way from being a typical android even before her 2.0 upgrade!
In fact, Cent-Comm considered Dolly's unusual emotional development as being a positive factor in her ability to tolerate the advanced new body. So it is very likely Cent-Comm had that factor in mind when she flash programed/activated CeCi.
Last couple of pages have a different feel to them. I cant put my finger on what, it has a killer Simon Bisley edge to it now. I really, really like it.
idk if anything you'd think this kinda thing would have happened before already considering breaking off a "copy" of your mind and letting it run foff with its own experiences would be turning them into a new person. Although i gues maybe they havea way to merge their minds back to gether after the mission idk

*STARE*
Plus a sledge hammer will wreck a man And an Ameboa equally well :)

*(Or late, as the case may be.)
*(Like all her plans.)
[And, Happy Birthday! If you're so inclined.]
[BTW: Does DYSTRANS stand for Dystopia Transit?]
Or B; Cent-comm lied about aspects of Ceci. Maybe she's not an Angel after all.
Or C; a combo of both.

"Mommy!" *pounce*
lol
*(Until now, not an area of high priority.)
Oh and congrats on the new computerz!!!
