Good Morning!

[A most persuasive discussion,
Interesting repercussions!]
cattservant 10th May 2013, 4:10 AM edit delete reply

Minor technical question: Previous page (959) last two panels; Mira is reacting to the noise of whatever CeCi knocked over?
Centcomm 10th May 2013, 4:14 AM edit delete reply

Yep she is, Rose decided against a sound effect because nothing she did made sense .. so it was left out..
cattservant 10th May 2013, 4:17 AM edit delete reply

I thought a security alarm had been tripped.

[I also thought Black Angels were graceful...]
Sheela 10th May 2013, 9:08 AM edit delete reply

They are, their "brandnew" honking big guns aren't, however. :D
cattservant 10th May 2013, 2:29 PM edit delete reply

I think she left her HBG in the APC.
Sheela 10th May 2013, 4:17 PM edit delete reply

What .. leave her new shiny behind ?

Inconcievable !
antrik 14th May 2017, 5:39 PM edit delete reply
It's really confusing though without the sound effect. Like, "WTF are they talking about? Did I miss a page or something?..."
Dragonrider 10th May 2013, 5:31 AM edit delete reply

Crash, Bang, Loud Explosion might have worked. Unfortunately Ceci is about a graceful as any teenager during a growth spurt.
Centcomm 10th May 2013, 5:57 AM edit delete reply

Remember she has two modes, Ceci normal , cute and cuddly.. and not perfect. and her "combat mode" shes a lot more focused and graceful.
cattservant 10th May 2013, 6:11 AM edit delete reply

Actually, she has a track record for knocking over equipment...

[Comic 532-537]
LooeyQ 10th May 2013, 5:42 AM edit delete reply

She is persuasive, Ive seen it happen! Its a' scary!
Rogue 10th May 2013, 6:01 AM edit delete reply

"Discussion"... Technically, she's not lying. ;P
Sheela 10th May 2013, 9:09 AM edit delete reply

Indeed .. words were used.
Marcus Ramesy 10th May 2013, 2:06 PM edit delete reply

BANG!!! any one else want to negotiate?
Sheela 10th May 2013, 4:17 PM edit delete reply

There were 6 words in that last sentence! :)
Rashala 10th May 2013, 4:37 PM edit delete reply

Hostile Negotiations.
Sheela 10th May 2013, 4:45 PM edit delete reply

2 words !
velvetsanity 10th May 2013, 5:08 PM edit delete reply

The discussion turned loud and messy, but in the end, Dolly won the debate and the gutters made their peace, through the assistance of one Samuel Colt.
Sheela 10th May 2013, 5:10 PM edit delete reply

Indeed, good ol' Mr Colt has a way around words. :)
cattservant 10th May 2013, 6:54 PM edit delete reply

He's a "Peacemaker"!
Dragonrider 10th May 2013, 8:39 PM edit delete reply

God man big men
He also made tall,
Some were short,
But Old Sam Colt,
Equalized them all.
Rashala 11th May 2013, 1:23 PM edit delete reply

To Quote Indiana Jones and the lost Ark.
(and if you seen the movie you know what scene)

*just pulls gun and shoots* BANG! *walks off*
velvetsanity 11th May 2013, 3:48 PM edit delete reply

That scene was hilarious! ^_^

On a related note: Han shot first, darnit!
Rashala 11th May 2013, 6:00 PM edit delete reply

Of course he shot first.

He;s a smuggler
Sheela 12th May 2013, 11:43 AM edit delete reply

While it does indeed "equalize all" in a fashion, it unfortunately also makes it almost impossible to end a comflict if people don't want it to end.

Just look at how the last 5 wars or so the US has been in, they go in, beat stuff up and then they sit around in the country for several years with insurgents constantly coming after them with old AK-rifles. The wars never ends, and eventually, the invaders have to pull out, with no decidedly end to the war .. and then the fanatics that are left tends to become terrorists, taking the war to the US.

Bad circle, and in part because of guns and explosives can deal so much damage, so easily.

I could go on about it, but lets just say this - Guns can equalize people, but they often don't.
Marcus Ramesy 12th May 2013, 1:08 PM edit delete reply

and this is why I am a big fan of scorched earth tactics.
Rashala 12th May 2013, 2:41 PM edit delete reply

Yes we know You and tedee your way to plow the snow off a driveway... A plasma thrower...
Dragonrider 12th May 2013, 5:29 PM edit delete reply

Plasma beam's better and neater for snow removal than an APC with steel tracks and a vibro-blade to push what ever's in front of it. Seems like an eminently reasonable method to me.It also cuts your neighbors lawn for the next season and saves him from having to buy weed killer in the spring.
Stormwind13 10th Oct 2013, 6:21 AM edit delete reply

But Marcus, a scorched Earth grows nothing and feds no one.

Just shoot the bastards and leave the poor Earth alone. :-D In fact, if you do it right (leave something BESIDES a few ashes) their bodies will make good fertilizer to HELP the Earth grow something. :-)
Dragonrider 12th May 2013, 5:34 PM edit delete reply

I didn't say it was fair, I just quoted an old poem.
cattservant 10th May 2013, 6:27 AM edit delete reply

Nice touch, Mira uses a bolt cutter to trim her hair!
KarToon12 10th May 2013, 7:36 AM edit delete reply

A most persuasive discussion indeed. XD
Eldoran 10th May 2013, 9:35 AM edit delete reply
Nice perspective in the last Panel. Ceci almost looks clean.
Incidentally that is somewhat surprising, (same as on the last page) she had for example a smear across the face, which is missing on the last two pages. The other are either mostly on the non-visible parts or in shadow.
I'm curious though, why only clean up the face, but not the other gore?
Centcomm 10th May 2013, 10:03 AM edit delete reply

She wiped her face off in between pages? actually I forgot a transistion panel >_<thank you on the complinments :D
ge2org 10th May 2013, 1:55 PM edit delete reply

"Well I didn't mean to knock it over" haha! Poor oblivious Ceci. She can't understand that dolly is trying to avoid paying for it !!!

Will we get to see more of rotter? (The guy with the scullhead) I thought his argument with Mira was hilarious!
CyberSkull 10th May 2013, 2:08 PM edit delete reply

Supersonic persuasiveness!
Rashala 10th May 2013, 4:38 PM edit delete reply

To paraphrase Commander Shepherd.

If I know Dolly gutter your answer is coming at muzzle velocity
Lee Alverson 10th May 2013, 6:01 PM edit delete reply
Also "Technically" they all did "Leave" and will not be back.
cattservant 11th May 2013, 1:39 AM edit delete reply

They muffled off their shortal coils...
Draginbeard 10th May 2013, 8:43 PM edit delete reply

That first panel reminds me of how I, in my very impressionable mind, used to envision the space lab I had when I collected Micronaught toys. Totally digging it!
Centcomm 11th May 2013, 4:37 AM edit delete reply

oh My I loved those things - I had several never the really spiffy ones - but a lot - they were so detailed YAY!!! sci fi toys!!!
ranger_brianna_new 12th May 2013, 12:36 PM edit delete reply

Talking with bullets:
The universal language. :P
cattservant 12th May 2013, 4:07 PM edit delete reply

Is that what they call 'bullet points'?
Dragonrider 12th May 2013, 5:36 PM edit delete reply

*Gets hook and pulls off stage* 10,000 unemployed comedians and you come up with a pun that bad?
cattservant 12th May 2013, 5:44 PM edit delete reply

Literality = Purity
Stormwind13 10th Oct 2013, 6:27 AM edit delete reply

Well at least it wasn't a cat-astro-fee (she didn't shoot them to the moon). :-D
