I wonder what the icon looks like in her hud. She's gonna be a hard sell on this nature tree squirrel thing..City girl in the country..
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 7:38 PM edit delete reply

its a snowflake.. yeah.. a pretty snowflake..":D
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 9:28 PM edit delete reply

It's official then?
TeeDee's got TUTs!
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 9:58 PM edit delete reply

Then she can be a pretty litle unique snowflake, just like all the rest of them. :D

Well, aither that, or she could just go on being a grumpy-grump !
CyberSkull 30th Jul 2013, 11:41 PM edit delete reply

Two little snowflakes. ;p
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 7:38 PM edit delete reply

Not going to please her Ada!
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 8:03 PM edit delete reply

maybe not but Ada is going to keep trying...
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 8:14 PM edit delete reply

Ah, the subtle pleasures of low level aggravation application to grumpy-fussers!
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 10:00 PM edit delete reply

Soooo many ways to try and please them .. and soo many ways to fail.
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 10:11 PM edit delete reply

A delicate challenge,
Like combing the Cat's tail!
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 10:13 PM edit delete reply

Combing cats is surprisingly easy, actually.
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 10:18 PM edit delete reply

Tails are touchy, such a fine line between outrage and passion!
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 7:41 PM edit delete reply

I'm assuming "once-hidden" is a vast understatement about the ancient history of Ahta.
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 8:02 PM edit delete reply

heheh.. you could say that..
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 7:42 PM edit delete reply

I'm surprised that they are allowed out in view of everyone. I expected the security concerns would keep them inside.

Ada is wearing the markings of her medico profession. :-)

Oh and TeeDee's brown eyes are gorgeous. :-)
velvetsanity 30th Jul 2013, 7:43 PM edit delete reply

Yes, they are. They're absolutely beautiful, and an even better match for her features and complexion than Ada's are.
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 7:45 PM edit delete reply

I like both of them actually. However, with the overall colors, you might be right. TeeDee's does go together really well.
velvetsanity 30th Jul 2013, 7:57 PM edit delete reply

Oh, they're both beautiful. Though my impression with Ada's is that the outer ring contrasts too much with the main color (soften the line there, more gradual transition, I think. Don't quote me on it, though, because that would likely require either modifying or replacing the texture) but it's really only noticeable in the last panel, where it's somewhat of a close-up.

Even so, they are very pretty eyes.
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 8:01 PM edit delete reply

actually that "distinct-ring" was intentional .. >_<
velvetsanity 31st Jul 2013, 4:59 AM edit delete reply

Ahh, ok
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 8:02 PM edit delete reply

well theres no reason they have to remain hidden. "officially" they arent not andriods and are just regular people working for black.
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 8:07 PM edit delete reply

I guess, just seems like letting people know that there are more people on board might not be the best thing. Mr. Black normally flies solo (or has in the past). So they are going to get noticed more, I would think.

And anything that gets noticed, might get passed along to Nova Roma. That could be a bad thing. With an EVIL CentComm running around giving YOU that kind of opening doesn't seem like a good idea to me. :-D
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 9:01 PM edit delete reply

Actually, I think he was 'driving solo' up til now.
Big ship, big crew perhaps?
Or paying passengers?
There was some cover story mentioned awhile back but I can't remember it right now.

EDIT: Actually here it is.
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 9:39 PM edit delete reply

Yep that even excuses most of Dr. silvers high end gear.
Highlander55 31st Jul 2013, 5:51 AM edit delete reply
Maybe Teedee is supposed to be the young idiot guy who thinks he found the lost Archives. She could be mistaken for a young guy with almost no tits on her chest. But she does have beautiful eyes though! Kinda hard not knowing what her voice sounds like. Could be crackly from changing from boy to man or something non gender specific.
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 8:18 PM edit delete reply

All ashore that's going ashore!
Gotta test the disguises in a neutral setting.
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 10:07 PM edit delete reply

yeppers :D
Stormwind13 31st Jul 2013, 3:14 AM edit delete reply

Have to question the neutral, Cat. I mean, it says that Atha is the primary point of contact between Nova Roma and the rest of the world?

To me that screams SPIES BE HERE! :-)

And yes, you are right about the cover story; however, still giving nasty people a hard count on bodies doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

Plus, Dr. Silver (at least) is probably in people's database. I mean if she is as good as she thinks she is, she would be worth keeping track of. At last check she wasn't in disguise or anything. The stated mission also doesn't sound like her thing (if you have info on her personality at least).
cattservant 31st Jul 2013, 5:09 AM edit delete reply

Good point, but everyone seems to be rolling their own since Cent-Comm Actual lit up this mission anyway.
Ms. Blue and Company haven't been exactly subtle.
Mr. Black is the only one with significant practice at disinformation and misdirection.

[Of course Ms. Rose is being characteristically invisible in her dealings.]
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 10:13 AM edit delete reply

And then suddenly .. Deep Blue ... noone saw him coming ! >_<
cattservant 31st Jul 2013, 10:51 AM edit delete reply

Aeneas was muttering about "wild cards".
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 11:22 AM edit delete reply

He did indeed.
He also said there was a lot more players in this little drama than even CentCom was aware of.
Stormwind13 31st Jul 2013, 1:30 PM edit delete reply

Too true. I guess the reason I would be worried about it is because of the unanswered question... How did the gutters know right where and when to intercept Lynn?

Sounds like a leak to me, so what ELSE got leaked? The more information the groups leak out (by showing themselves or their abilities, looking at Dolly accussingly) the more data someone else can be gathering/confirming.

You are right about Mr. Black, left to running things he probably could get most people to look the wrong way at the right times. But then there are people like the Pouting Princess that shoot off flares (in the radio spectrum, not visible spectrum) to screw up even HIS misdirection. :-p
Don B. 30th Jul 2013, 8:12 PM edit delete reply
TeeDee not only sees that the glass is half empty, but also figures the water is poisoned. I wonder if she'll ever get any joy out of life that isn't based on destructive ass kicking...
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 9:39 PM edit delete reply

Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 9:56 PM edit delete reply

Not only is the glass half full of poisonous water, the glass itself is cracked, and will break apart any minute now, resulting in jagged glass shards for you to cut yourself on and get your biologicals all poisoned, resulting in another trip to the body shop.

Gods, but she hates those damned glasses of water. >:(
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 10:06 PM edit delete reply

shes not THAT bad.. maybe.. >_< LOL
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 10:07 PM edit delete reply

... AND then the bodyshops medic units will overcharge you because some of the poisoned water gets into their system and you end up in massive body debt .. again !
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 10:55 PM edit delete reply

HAHAHH - ok that was too funny..
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 3:13 AM edit delete reply

.. and wouldn't you know it, somewhere, someone is laughing at your costs - And all because of one.. little.. glass.... of water.

Bloody biologicals. >:(
Don B. 31st Jul 2013, 8:09 AM edit delete reply
I get an LOL from CentComm and you have to go and outdo me I don't know where you come up with this stuff, but it's usually interesting and pretty funny. ;)
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 8:13 AM edit delete reply

Sorry :P she was funnyer >_< doesnt mean i like you less :D
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 10:16 AM edit delete reply

Why thank you ... and I was totally channeling a mix of TeeDee & Mr Zorg there.
For some reason, it just seemed appropiate.
Let's hope TeeDee don't end up choking on the glass though, that could end up messy.
Don B. 31st Jul 2013, 11:20 AM edit delete reply
I don't mind...funny is funny. Besides, I DID get an LOL out of you and inspired Sheela, so I see it as a win/win kinda thing. As an artist myself (musician), it's my opinion that creativity should be encouraged wherever you may find it.
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 11:30 AM edit delete reply

The odd thing was, that when Cent answered the first comment, I came up with the idea of doing a sort of Combo-breaker style sort of joke, ie. I would come up with more and more outrageous things that TeeDee could blame a half empty glass of water for, and keep it going until someone else made a comment, thus breaking the combo.

Interestingly, it was a sort of one-upmanship against my own creativity.
I'm not quite sure where to go next - Though it would probably have to be a lawsuit, because obviously TeeDee would have to punch those people that laughed at her, and she might, or might not, have accidentially broken someones nose.

And it was all the fault of one damned glass of water.

.... offcourse, she'd somehow twist it, so it would be the fault of the biologicals that Centcomm installed ... which, obviously she doesn't like in the first place ... which means that really .. it's Centcomm's fault, when it really boils down to it. Hence why it would only get worse everytime Centcomm was making answers to it.

So, as you can see, it all made perfect sense in TeeDee's worldview. :)
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 12:13 PM edit delete reply

*faceplams* but it does make sense.. in a TD kind of way..
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 12:16 PM edit delete reply

Well, that's just how TeeDee rolls. :)
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 12:52 PM edit delete reply

Don B. 31st Jul 2013, 2:57 PM edit delete reply
aaaaand I broke the combo. Oops! Next time I'll shut up and see how far you get. :)
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 3:16 PM edit delete reply

Heh, naw don't hold back - your creativity needs to be encouraged too. :)

Besides, now that I have done this, I have to come up with something new and different next time.
Rashala 30th Jul 2013, 9:51 PM edit delete reply

Now If That MEch was walking by TEdee would be gushing about IT and ada would be rolling her eyes I bet
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 10:06 PM edit delete reply

Shes already eyeing the mech. and deciding how to bring it down in the most efficent method.
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 10:08 PM edit delete reply

Simple, just kill the weak part .. the pilot .. damn organics just won't stand up to a proper ass kicking anyways.

Besides, then she'd have access to a mecha and even more asskicking potential!
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 12:39 AM edit delete reply

this is why she has a Myrmidon PPC rifle. :D
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 10:14 PM edit delete reply

TeeDee is always hovering between tactics and strategy...
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 10:21 PM edit delete reply

Her two main strengths are tectics and strategy .... and ass kicking.
Uhm ... Her THREE main strengths are tactics, strategy and ass-kicking ... and being utter ruthless ..
Ok, ok .. her FOUR main strengths are tactics, strategy, ass-kicking and ruthlessness .. and a sixth sense for violence.

ok, ok, this isn't working, we'll just make our entrance again ... brb

*kicks door in*

lalverson 30th Jul 2013, 10:21 PM edit delete reply
One other observation. Ada who would rather have been a human comes up short, while the one that wanted to be a chromium kill driod blends in way better...Interesting..
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 10:33 PM edit delete reply

Ada is preternaturally serene.
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 10:56 PM edit delete reply

Ada tries to remain calm and upbeat .. its her "bedside manner" :D you havent seen her "lose her cool" yet. but you have seen her very annoyed.
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 3:16 AM edit delete reply

Does she get dangerous when she looses her cool ?
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 3:23 AM edit delete reply

"Dangerous" in a matter of degrees with Ada. shes not likely to throw a punch or shoot you. Lecture you yes. Perhaps even slap. the only time she will actually respond with a gun is if she has NO choice.
velvetsanity 31st Jul 2013, 5:02 AM edit delete reply

As I've said before, she's Belldandy :D
Marcus Ramesy 31st Jul 2013, 7:08 AM edit delete reply

I have seen her loose her cool, and trust me.. it takes a LOT to make that happen.. and I do mean a lot.
Rashala 31st Jul 2013, 3:34 PM edit delete reply

And What marcus has neglected to mention is when she DOES lose it........EVERYONE takes cover. Even Tedee.

THAT should tell you something*
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 3:39 PM edit delete reply

Hrm .. if they're not worried about danger, then maybe they're worried that she will shame them instead.
Make them feel small, unworthy and a litle bit as if they are the bad people that needs correcting ?
In other words, she'd go toe to toe with a Timson android in full voice?
Draginbeard 30th Jul 2013, 10:45 PM edit delete reply

Im just sitting here, wondering what TeeDee's HUD would look like if you threw in a pair of blue boobies as an actual temp indicator...
Centcomm 30th Jul 2013, 10:57 PM edit delete reply

hahah - Ok thats a funny mental image...
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 11:05 PM edit delete reply

Do you mean something like this?
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 12:38 AM edit delete reply

HAH.. :D
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 10:22 AM edit delete reply

Oh man, those blue boobies were amazing. :)
highlander55 31st Jul 2013, 6:00 PM edit delete reply

As cold as she is complaining about het tits are probably blue now and nipples rock hard looking at that MEch. Unless she has a heated bra on. (Pffft! yeah right)
ranger_brianna_new 30th Jul 2013, 11:18 PM edit delete reply

Is the lack of space in aboveground intentional?
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 12:38 AM edit delete reply

yep they prefer living underground. it also makes military or gang actions on the city MUCH less effective.
Tokyo Rose 31st Jul 2013, 2:29 AM edit delete reply

Cent, I believe the question was exactly the same as the one you asked me about the word "aboveground", versus "above ground". And yes, it's intentional. It's a recognized usage:
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 2:38 AM edit delete reply

ah.. ok, that makes more sense >_<

( yes I already asked rose about the space/useage :D it confused me to silly english language rules :D)
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 3:20 AM edit delete reply

Edit :
Nothing to see here .. move along.
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 3:24 AM edit delete reply

I LOled at that..
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 10:23 AM edit delete reply

Oh, shush you.

KarToon12 31st Jul 2013, 7:24 AM edit delete reply

The dialouge in panel two is GOLD. XD

And she's got to learn that faking pretty scenery is nothing compared to real life. Hasn't she seen Wall-E? XD
Centcomm 31st Jul 2013, 8:14 AM edit delete reply

Glad you liked it :D - I laughed too when I saw it :D that was a pure Rose comment :D
mjkj 31st Jul 2013, 12:32 PM edit delete reply
