I do not think the weak points jamie59 mentioned are TeeDee's buttons. I am thinking he meant structural weak points. Points that if properly attacked will bring this fight to a satisfactory conclusion for all.
I bet if done properly hits to those points will limit TeeDee's ability to wreak havoc without immediately incapacitating her. This increases Marcus' survivability while allowing him to help TeeDee work out some of her issues in a "controlled" way. "Controlled", heh heh, controlled in the same meaning as controlled demolition.
Actually, probably vice-versa. Unless the firearms all have default power settings that are strong enough to blow up a wall (okay, admittedly, not out of the question, but you'd think that'd be a bit overkill :P), then a prolonged battle between superhuman individuals is going to be more messy than a quick pistol duel would be.
A laser weapon against anything that can burn would make a terrible mess. I don't know what Marcus is carrying, but TeeDee had a laser for sure. In a bar (with all the wonderful Molotov cocktails in the making) would burn QUITE well I think. :-)
Now with what Marcus and TeeDee are carrying, unless Marcus' weapon has some non-typical ammo (which knowing him, it MIGHT), I doubt either of them would fold on one hit. They are both well above 'normal' in their toughness.
Does it really count as "being shot" in the traditional sense when the gun in question is firing shells that weigh over a ton and can delete chunks of the surrounding area?
Since the shell in question is bigger than the TARGET, probably not Rose. :-D I mean, the shells were like 2700 pounds. So they shoot a small car at things. =O
Yeah, compensating for the fact he is taking a group into Nova Roma where he is going to be outnumbered 10,000 to 1 (even with Mr. Black's additional 'help') and counting the ORBS as full members. Takes a big gun to deal with those numbers. :-D
Marcus is REALLY trying to get TeeDee to stop targeting anyone else. He looks pretty bad-ass in the first panel there. Especially with the shield crackling behind him.
Now, TeeDee seems to be carrying a Bulldog 7 Mk5 Laser weapon; however, I don't see Marcus' gun on the Tech Page. Something else for CentComm to work on (in between packing and making more comics for us). :-D
They *are* facing one another, but the camera angle changes between panels three and four so that both panels are being taken from the same shot more or less towards the right hip and the firearm on it, with a tighter shot on Marcus's gun in P4 than TeeDee's gun in P3. Thus the point of view shifts from one side of the bar in P3 to the other side of the bar in P4.
Doesn't look awkward to me, and considering the figures used for the characters, it would be really hard to get someone with reversed thumbs. One reason why I like working in DAZ Studio with 3D models as well as opposed to drawing: It keeps things in proportion and perspective.
Situation like that, making any move toward your gun - even to toss it aside - is likely to get you shot (at) if the other guy is as keyed up as yo are.
Wild Bill Hickock killed his own deputy when the guy came up behind him unexpectedly after Hickock had just survived a shootout.
(BTW: Favourite trivia question: What was Wild Bill Hickock's real/full name?)
Yeah, Marcus was VERY disciplined there. I was thinking the same thing you were, Fairport. TeeDee was very lucky Marcus correctly interpreted her actions as a throw away, not a draw. That could have gotten VERY messy.
Oh and Wild Bill's real name was James Butler Hickok, Fairportfan. :-) I'm believe that Butler was his mother's maiden name.
This is pure torture for Ada isn't it?
And yeah, Ada cares for BOTH Marcus and TeeDee, so this has to be pure TORMENT for her. :-7

As it is, I fear it will still be painful and messy. We will find out how painful and messy in the next few pages.

That is one of the most bad-ass looking guys I've seen in a while.
*looking forward to the bar-fight*
