thank you all for bearing with me. I know ive been MIA for responding to commmets but ive been insanely busy, trying to get things working for the move.
again thank you ALL for your kind comments and help!
I don't think that this bodes well for TeeDee. At least she now realizes just how much of an asshole she was being. I hope Ada can forgive Veronica, Marcus and TeeDee for their roles in the fight. Connie requires none of course. Hers would be the only actions during that mess that Ada would approve of.
actually, now that I've had time to think about it, this incident may get TeeDee to reconsider her views on "meat sacks" in general. Her discussion with Ada just before their encounter with a plasma rifle was very much a mirror image of Aurelia's views towards androids. The specifics are different, but the bigotry isn't.
oh its a complex subject to be sure of. and to answer sheela as well yes.. she felt trapped in a puppet body, apart from herself like nothing was real.
Seeing song lyrics written out in a static medium has always been awkward, at least to me. If the reader isn't familiar with the song, it tends to read like VERY bad poetry, since there's no reference for the intended rhythm of the words.
awww - she had a lot to deal with. I do realize that shes done some major damage but remember these are all friends and this IS her very first "reload" from death - its enough to rattle anyone.
So I just realized: TeeDee was running in safe mode all this time. I hereby forgive all transgressions, since that would be a justifiable excuse for crimes far higher than a bar fight.
I think Ada wants more than a hug from TeeDee, remember her very first question when she say TeeDee's new body.
Someone asked a few pages back which rescue mission was the red herring, I reckon all of them. Cent Com and Rose are working together (just like in writing this comic) and their goal is to save one of their own, humans are incidental to that.
Just maybe down under her 'nice layer', Ada thinks that if she and TeeDee are going to share the Major, she should go first as TeeDee is a little rough and debilitating...
Mr. Black was betting on the outcome and won a windfall? Hahahah! Hilarious! He did have inside information on the participants, though.
It begs to question, however, on who actually won that fight. True, by the end of the fight Teedee seemed to have the upper hand as she was doing more damage. But Marcus got the last blow in (punching Teedee across the room) before the fuzz broke things up.
Duke actually predicted the outcome well enough to clean up? Well, he has spent some time on an aircraft with the two cyborgs, so I guess he had an advantage there.
I really like the way you represented Ada's music here.
she HAS BEEN AN ASSHOLE!
*hands tedee a massive shovel* You got yourself into this hole you gotta dig yourself out
Offcourse, the fact that TeeDee isn't too much into intimacy in the first place, might have something to do with it.
Plus TeeDee's new body has proved that it's very huggable. :)
Naturally, Cent, I am extremely interested in learning more about this aspect, integration, the effects of not being integrated, etc ^_~
No wonder she was getting the creepy crawlies.
Refurbishment,
And on to Nova Roma
Where things aren't quite so reasonable...
*(That the fun and games are concluded)
Poor Ada *hugs her*
Well, at least TeeDee has found reason again. And yayy for dr. silver having to pay more :) even if it is just a hundred.
Re: alt text: Yes I did :) thank you so much.
But only from very specific persons.
She has been an ass since before her new body. Since then she has been boiling over for a fight and ready to kill for no very good reason.
This is one of the few redeeming moments she has shown (and its basically an inner moment), in or out of this new body.

And that a certain 'immortal' is stirring the pudding with a big 'wooden spoon'!
*(Male participation not required.)
