Come on Rose don't you support The Darwin Awards?
velvetsanity 30th Sep 2013, 10:39 PM edit delete reply

Not when the awardee is someone that's vital to something she's cooking up, obviously :D
Centcomm 1st Oct 2013, 6:01 AM edit delete reply

oh she supports it :D
cattservant 30th Sep 2013, 9:13 PM edit delete reply

Rashala 30th Sep 2013, 11:07 PM edit delete reply

Ah rose. Ensureing humanity stays true to itself despite itself.
Fairportfan 30th Sep 2013, 11:30 PM edit delete reply

Ummm - should be red left wingtip, green right.

Been the standard since way back in sailing-ship days.

I know it's minor and picky, but...
Stormwind13 1st Oct 2013, 3:07 AM edit delete reply

True, Fairport. Unless it is because of Nova Roma going back to something even further (I mean Douche Bag going back to Caesar's date of death for his code on Lynn's bracelet). Wouldn't make much sense, but that might not stop that idiot from doing it anyhow.
Centcomm 1st Oct 2013, 6:01 AM edit delete reply

Actually - ive been alternating the red / green on the wing tips ...I didnt know what the standard was and even if I that doesnt mean its "sparta's" or Nova romas standard. :D
Guest 1st Oct 2013, 2:02 PM edit delete reply
Well, it is actually the WORLD'S standard at this time. And for safety reasons, so that someone a couple miles away can tell which way you are going and have a better idea of where they need to pass in order to avoid hitting you (which would pretty much ruin BOTH of your days, I think).

Because of that, something should be place for everyone (even if they are at war with one another). Anyone wanting to be unnoticed would probably be running dark (no lights), instead of screwing with a safety standard. :-)
Centcomm 1st Oct 2013, 2:07 PM edit delete reply

thats a very good point.. Ill change it for later pages :D
Stormwind13 1st Oct 2013, 3:29 PM edit delete reply

They are even carrying this on into SPACE!!! :-D Navigation lights

That was a good catch, Fairport. I didn't really notice them on the first pass, got in too big a hurry and they still might not have registered for a while yet. :-)

I hope he has some fish to prove his statements...

Outrunning G-Pulse missiles? I doubt he is fast enough for that ... spoilsport :p

Well, maybe he has time for that later - after fixing Aeneas and saving Lynn and Acantha...
Stormwind13 1st Oct 2013, 3:00 AM edit delete reply

The good thing mjkj is he doesn't HAVE to have fish. He could have claimed to have eaten them already. I know that is what happened to fish I caught on trips. :-)
cattservant 1st Oct 2013, 3:46 AM edit delete reply

And he's not a Lensman either.
Centcomm 1st Oct 2013, 6:03 AM edit delete reply

Stormwind is right . they arent going to do a physical search, besides the nice thing about hunting and fishing is TELLING people what you caught.
Stormwind13 1st Oct 2013, 3:34 PM edit delete reply

And he might be one of those people that catches things and then releases them again (so they can get even BIGGER to catch the next time). :-D Of course in that case, he should have PICTURES. I would expect Rose could come up with something there, if they decide they need them though. Somehow I imagine she is good at telling fish(ie) stories. :-D

Plus one might not want to pack fish into their craft. As fish can smell it up, despite whatever precautions you take to contain the smell. :-D

"That's me. Blighting the hopes of generations of dumb, cocky kids so they can survive long enough to have dumb, cocky kids of their very own." Love that line Rose. I am very much a supporter of allowing the incredibly stupid to remove themselves from the gene pool. This means those who when told that what they want to do is most likely fatal still do it. If the dumb and cocky person accepts the information, and chooses to not do what they were going to do, then they are no longer (in that instance) dumb. They may still be cocky, but that is usually a more survivable condition.
Guest 1st Oct 2013, 2:08 PM edit delete reply
Agreed, Antonious. Take a bow Rose. That was a GREAT line. I loved it. And it is SOOOO true. :-)

Ignorance compared to actual stupidity, Antonious. If they are ignorant of the consequences but willing to listen, that is curable (normally by getting some experience). Truly stupid is refusing to listen, learn from someone older and more experienced.
Tokyo Rose 1st Oct 2013, 4:49 PM edit delete reply
